Lakefront Cabin, path to lake, private dock, fire pit! Near Lagrange and Auburn

The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated charming original A-frame cabin! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access, upstairs loft bedroom with sitting area (great for kids) and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking!

Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds. WE NOW HAVE fiber WiFi! Yay!

We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. WeeklyIf you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent the boat. Private guided fishing trips available, please contact if interested.
There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock!
New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin!

Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping!

Nice, Quiet Getaway
Our stay was just what we wanted. The cabin was in a great location. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the deck and also the chairs that were set out down by the water. We didn't cook at the cabin as there were so many restaurants in LaGrange. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, and both were more than helpful. Thank you to them and VRBO for being easy to work with.

Beautiful outside the house itself was clean but mold was growing in master bedroom giving us all head congestion, headaches and coughs. The baby gate provided didn’t fit the steep stairs to the loft where our kids and grands were to stay because of the number of beds in it so we had to rent the garage apartment for an unexpected expense. I know it’s a cabin in the woods but we killed palmetto bugs on the kitchen counters and woke up to palmetto poop each morning on the counters. I will say the owners were on top of messages.

Relaxation at its finest!
We had the most relaxing time on our trip. This summer was our second time staying. We plan on going back next summer as well. The neighbors are friendly. The lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. The boys had the best time fishing and swimming. The host is wonderful. The property is always clean and ready to go. It’s really is the perfect getaway.
