“Good hotel for the money”

The room was very clean. Only disadvantage was it wasnt as close to the gulfarium and boardwalk in Destin as I thought it would be.

“Nice Clean Friendly”

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were in good condition, with all the amenities we needed. It was in good proximity to everything we wanted to do in this area (beach, shopping, dining, conference center). The wifi works great and the speed was faster then what we have at home. The pool was also a pleasant surprise, though we couldn't go in since the weather was slightly chilly at night. Overall when we come back to the area we will stay here again.

hotel and room were adequate. daytime office staff not overly friendly. continental breakfast very skimpy - i was very disappointed with only 2 cereal options and 2 pastry options (no fruit!) Don't stay here expecting to have a decent breakfast included, even though it's advertised

“pretty good hotel”

it was very good.the hotel was nice the man at the desk i checked in with was very nice. the tv remote however did not work so i went to ask for new batterys and got new ones but still did not work. maybe it was the wrong remote for that tv not sure. the door even thou you shut it. it would not completly shut you could just push it open so you had to make sure to pull it shut hard not a big deal thou. i didnt not have a car the whole time so the area wasnt that great if you had no transportation just a ihop and a park and a bunch of car dealerships. but everything was nice the workers were nice the hotel was in good condition.

Renovation is ongoing, but that did not affect the level of service.

“Cheap and affordable”

The hotel looked nice on expedia, but was a tad different in person. The room was clean, but the tub was old and it showed. Overall, you get what you pay for.

“A good value for a short stay”

Regency is an old motel. Nothing special, but it was pretty clean. The price was well below other Fort Walton motels. Great location. We were not in the room much, except to sleep.

“not impressed”

the only thing i liked was the mattress, which is usually the least thing. the mattress was a memory foam and i had the best sleep. the hotel was run down and the free continental breakfast was only cold cereal and toast, not even fruit or muffins. the coffe was decent though. the check in and out was very easy because of the pre-pay.

I was not at all impressed with this hotel. The mattresses on the beds were extremely old and we sank into them as soon as we sat on the beds. The two at the front dest were very rude!!

Low rate-but worked. Could not find anything else on such short notice for that price. Would not have rented it if I could have seen it first. A little smelly and itchy but the housekeeper was very nice and tried to accomodate us as much as she could. Glad to get home and in a fresh bed and a room with cool fresh air!
