A lovely little bit of paradise!Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: They had an honor bar fridge in the courtyard, where you could get bottled water, juices, wine or beer, and pay for it on checkout. Cool!
Cons: Their office hours are interrupted in the midday, as in most of French Polynesia. But they were so gracious as to let us stay past their usual time.
Location: The location in Haapiti is perfect if you like off the beaten track. It's quiet and quaint. A car would be very useful but not absolutely necessary.
We booked the honeymoon cottage, which is a separate ocean-front fare surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. It has a canopy bed and a single bed where we set our suitcases. There is a fully furnished kitchenette with a half size fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker and kettle, and toaster. All the cookware and dishes are furnished as well. We love shopping at the local markets and preparing our own meals, so this was perfect! Bring your own coffee or tea, and seasonings. Pizza Daniel (best on the island) and an excellent roulotte (food truck) are a 5 minute walk as well. The unit is not air-conditioned, but there is a ceiling fan and nice breezes flow through even in summer. The neat thing is that this unit is thatched! Despite that, it's still very clean and did not leak at all even in a heavy rain. The beach and pier are wonderful for sunrise and especially sunset, as it's on the west side of Mo'orea. One of my favorite things was to have my coffee on the pier while watching the sunrise. We also enjoyed our Hinano beer there at sunset. It's so peaceful there. The snorkeling was excellent right off the pier, and they have a ladder so you can get in and out easily. Lots of coral and fish, and even a shark or two. In the rainy season, the water can get a little murky due to fresh water mixing in from the stream nearby. They have free bikes, kayaks, and even an outrigger canoe to paddle to the reef. They also loan snorkeling equipment at no charge.

Mostly goodPosted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Quiet, air conditioned, friendly staff.
Cons: Amenities such as kayak and bicycles need improvement.
Location: Snorkelling is the main thing to do and it is best using a kayak to get to good water. Unfortunately, since they leak, you can't go for too long.
On the water, great boardwalk and dock. Kayaks leak badly, no anchor ropes for going out and using as a snorkel base, water near shore very murky after a rain and it rains a lot. Only one size of bicycle so my wife wasn't able to use one and kids would not be able to use at all. Staff very helpful. Pizza place very good and food truck next door quite good. Good public beach with clear water and good choral about a 10 minute walk away but we had to find it ourselves. Overall, nice place but I would chose something else next time with better visibility in water.

Great value, friendly staff, wonderful experiencePosted Aug 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful experience at Linareva. The accommodations were above our expectations and the owners and staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is a bit off the beaten path -- expect to take a taxi or bus to and from the ferry station or airport. However, once you arrive there's no need to leave the region! Hiking trails, great snorkeling right outside your front door, kayaking, or grab one of the free rental bikes and head to Le Petit Village for lunch and shopping. It's not a luxury hotel--the vibe is sort of halfway between hotel and pension, but in the best way possible--and it is amazing value for the price. I plan on returning next year with my fiance for our honeymoon!

Fun adventurePosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
You get your own little house here and the owners live on the property! They are so nice! Felt a little like camping, but with ac and a kitchen! It was great to be able to cook our own food. Daniels pizza next door is amazing, and there are two grocery stores close by. Bed was super uncomfortable but otherwise clean. It's not the four seasons, so you have to approach it differently and for a different experience. We loved that there were bikes to use, and found it very easy to catch the bus to and from the ferry. Jumped in with the sharks -- was awesome!

Leuk hotel met haaien voor de deur!Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Het zwemmen met de haaien en de rust op het resort.
Cons: Meer ligbedjes en gratis gebruik van BBQ spullen en het aanbieden van BBQ vleespaketten.
Location: Mooie rustige lokatie.

perfect start to our honeymoon!Posted Mar 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we arrived, we were offered a choice between two units. Both were charming and immaculate, but we chose the one that offered a little more privacy. After checking in and grabbing our luggage from our rental car, they surprised us with a plate full of organic passion fruit, star fruit, papaya, and awesome avocados from their garden along with two fruit cocktails sitting on the table on our deck. This put us in such a wonderful mood! The setting is beautiful, and they offer so many free amenities like kayaks and bikes. These were ideal for exploring the lagoon and getting to the store in nearby Haapiti for fresh baguettes and pineapple and banana turnovers in the morning. Even the black tip and nurse sharks that hang out at the end of the dock every evening are friendly! We built up the courage to snorkel at the same spot when there was a single nurse shark sleeping at the bottom, and there is an abundance of colorful fish and coral. The kitchenette was also great for us because we were on a bit of a budget. We bought some fresh tuna at a local fishmonger and prepared our own thon rouge for one of our dinners. For our last night, we decided to indulge with their catered dinner on our private deck. It was fantastic! The chef is from PK Zero, one of the best restaurants on the island. Most importantly, everyone who works at Linareva genuinely cares about your experience. They answered all of our questions with a smile, no matter how much we pestered them.

アットホームでタヒチモーレアの自然を堪能できるバンガローPosted Feb 9, 2014

Quiet and FriendlyPosted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: It's location and size
Off the beaten path but with free bikes and local transportation we had no problem getting there (is on the other side of the island from the ferry landing) and to our destinations. Lovely sunsets and a long pier that ended in a ladder to snorkeling or swimming. Nurse sharks (not dangerous) are fed each evening and are amazing to watch. There was a kitchenette (no oven) which allowed us to prepare some meals. Breakfast and dinner can be ordered the day before and were very well prepared and served on our porch table. Very reasonable rates and helpful staff. The near-by Tiki dance school had a wonderful evening show (and free pick-up & delivery)!

Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!Posted Jan 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful stay. Our room had an amazing view of the lagoon. We could look out at the water from our bed! The room was very spacious and having a kitchen was quite useful for making lunch and dinner. It was great having bikes and kayaks at our disposal. We biked to the market for breakfast in the morning and took the kayak out for a paddle in the afternoons. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about island life.
