"The property was more than adequate for our stay. Being able to sit so near the bayou was also a plus. There were a few things that would have made the stay even better. These included (1) directions on turning the heat on at night; (2) no wifi on the property was almost a non-starter for me; (3) no hair dryer in either bathroom was almost a non-starter for the women; and nonstick cookware is a small investment that would make for happier campers."

"Property is just as described. The porch over the water is serene. Fish weren't biting, the area is slightly flooded, but a very relaxing getaway. The bed is comfortable. Everything you need for cooking is available, just bring your groceries and don't forget the coffee. The town of Jefferson is nearby with nice restaurants and plenty of antique shops."
