"My husband and our teenagers stayed there while visiting relatives in the area. My teenagers' exact words to describe the place were "cute and cozy". Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to understand which is always helpful. Special gratitude to the host who helped my little family solve some transportation issues to Hay due to some very bad weather. Sue was "above and beyond" helpful to them and we will always be grateful for her gracious assistance. Highly recommend this Vrbo."

"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."

"Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a romantic getaway, plenty of space and the décor with so much love put into the property. Hot tub was amazing loved it. We ordered from the menu homemade lasagne garlic bread and some chips for our first night and was so worth it tasted better than any pub meal. "The cabin was such a special place with the river right at the edge of the garden. We sat out and enjoyed dinner on the platform just next to the water and lit a small fire in the fire pit under the stars. The property was ideal for myself and my two young children (6 and 8, all of us sharing the one room) but would also be great for a couple looking for a getaway in a convenient location for exploring the beautiful surrounding area."

Had to turn on the bathroom light when going to the loo waking partner! Separate lights perhaps? Bath towels very small and we are average height /build.
