Good hotel hidden behind a strange entrancePosted Dec 6, 2014
Cons: Entrance and Reception
Hidden down one of the many small streets in Hong Kong a long way from the centre. Made much worse with the current traffic problems in HK. Rooms are great. Worthy of almost a 5 star. Reception is strange with very helpful staff working without any structure or equipment. Struggle to get in with no staff at the entrance and the reception upstairs. In part of old fashioned HK with all its atmosphere. It is the area of the Dry Fish Market and attracts many buyers. Connection to and from airport works well. When the Subway opens will be even easier to travel around HK. Tram stop 5 mins away.

Nice hotelPosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Good gym, business center and Malaysian restaurant
Cons: It's a bit far out
Location: Although It's a bit far from Central and a MTR station, hotel has a shuttle bus. McDonalds is across the street. Other restaurants nearby are Chines
Hotel Jen was rebranded. It used to be Traders Hoel. It has comfortable but not luxurious rooms. The hotel contains a small but adequate gym, with an awesome view of Victoria Harbor. Also, hotel contains a good business center and Malaysian restaurant. No other restaurants are inside hotel.

Good hotel with reasonable pricingPosted Nov 17, 2014
The young staff was very helpful, we got early and got our room within 20 minutes, the upgrade to the club level was a bargain, what a change to all the overpriced hotels in Kowloon and Hong Kong

nice boutique hotelPosted Nov 3, 2014
Cons: There is a free shuttle to Central and they should let the customer know when they check in.
pleasant stay, just a bit far from the subway station(not within walking distance). I got the hotel from the surprise sale from Expedia but I could not see the price is 20-40% off. I have done other surprise sale before and I always enjoyed a significant savings but not this time. Expedia should be aware of this instead of doing just a marketing gimmick.

2 Star hotel in 2 star locationPosted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: I am sorry to say, I did not like anything about this hotel
Cons: Everything, needs a complete overall
Location: Location in western part of Hong Kong Island, neat Kennedy Town, no MTR currently, although I noticed one is being built. Nearby was residential, no
I was disappointed with the hotel location, hotel that has changed its name 3 times in recent years, booked as Traders hotel by ShangriLa, only to find it called the Jen! Hotel shuttle bus did not run on time and did not pick up as advertised. There was no porter help with the luggage, and the hotel seems to run on minimum staff. The room was ok but only basic and was clean Has a nice restaurant on the 2nd floor

Good stay for Hong Kong IslandPosted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Room with the extras. Good breakfast and pool. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Hotel check in, arrived late at night and was very slow
Location: Not a good location for a tourist as not much to see in this area. You have to get taxi or shuttle to shopping and tourist areas. Good for a business
The hotel was very nice had a harbour view club room which was very nice with lots of extras. Hotel has a shuttle which runs quite frequently also takes you to Central where you can get airport express train. Hotel is a little far from Kowloon and main shopping areas.

Great hotel now called Jen hotelPosted Oct 8, 2014
This place has all the expected Shangri-la service without the glitz or the price tag. We stayed four nights and were delighted from start to finish. If you want a great deal then the regular/superior rooms are fine. Upgrade to the Club floors (HK $605 per room per night) then you get better views, breakfast, free soft drinks/tea coffee all day and cocktails during happy (two!) hours. Well worth it if you can make the stretch. The hotel limousine is also worth a treat, especially on arrival when you havent yet got your bearings and just want to get to the hotel and sleep. The heart of HK is an easy and colourful walk. Hotel food was good but there are so many local restaurants to try that you may only want to eat in once. NB Traders is nnow called hotel Jen but promises the same 4-star service.

깔끔한 객실Posted Sep 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
객실이 깔끔하고 이용하기에 큰 불편은 없었습니다. 역 근처 위치가 아니라 조금 아쉬웠지만 전반적으로 만족합니다.
