"We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. "Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try."

We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. Not really swimmable from the short dock but there were a couple of sand bars in the lake that we took the boat to and swam off of!...

"Our stay was amazing. It started out with an unmade bed which lead to the realization that I made the reservation for the wrong night and we had gone into the house a day early. "The chalet was exactly as advertised. There is plenty of room for everyone. We liked that there were plenty of extra supplies that people normally forget (tinfoil, garbage bags, etc.). The Nintendo and ping pong table kept the kids busy. The one negative is that the cabin echoes A LOT. You can definitely hear whomever wakes up first. That, though, would not keep us from coming back."
