We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. The separate lakefront portion of their land was great, loved the picnic table and shed down there! Not really swimmable from the short dock but there were a couple of sand bars in the lake that we took the boat to and swam off of!...

"We were surprised at the listing stating that it slept up to six people. For four men the room in the lower level that held two single beds was not enough room for our two guys. We were happy for the couch against the wall on the upper level where one of our guys slept all week"

"Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!"

"We had a great time! House was very nice and fit 8 of us very comfortably. We loved hearing and seeing the loons every day."

"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. "We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"
