"The staff is excellent. There is renovation going on in one of the towers but no one was staying there. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant and bar menu was good but a bit pricey for someone used to Midwest prices. The open air restaurant, bar and lobby were interesting for me, coming from a region that’s gets fours seasons. I was told the temps are pretty steady at this facility. Don’t worry, the hotel rooms have walls and a spacious balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Kona Resort."

"Sandy beach, ocean view, and shopping access was awesome! Luau was great! Billfish restaurant had amazing food. Hotel breakfast buffet was ok, food was not hot. Wouldn’t do buffet again. ABC store was convenient and had everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will stay again. "

"We were there for 9 days and was left alone the whole time they have activities daily if you want to participate. They have an excursions desk and will help you find and schedule excursions plus if you do a seminar you can get discounts. The grounds are very clean and kept up. Rooms are huge and air-conditioned plus all rooms have a ceiling fan."
