"The hotel is clean and very close to Shinjuku station - about 4-5 minutes walking. Very convenient for traveling in Tokyo. Staff helped us in many matters. Laundry and drying machines in 4 floors. Breakfast was good with western and Japanese food but can be improved. Rooms are very small. Difficult to move from one side to the other when 2 suitcases are open. If you come 10 minutes before the end of the breakfast, the staff treats you in a very unpleasant way and almost convince you not to eat....

"Great access point, staff were friendly and helpful and though room was small it was cosy. It was perfect location for Tokyo centre. Away from the madness of Shinjuku and close enough to other areas. Plenty to see and do nearby , really perfect location. There was nothing even slightly negative I could say about the place. I would stay there again."

"1 Night ¥1980 Hotel is everything you could ask for and more out of a hotel with the lower nightly rate you pay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo. I had no troubles with noise from other guests, everyone was very respectful...

"You get what you pay for. One staff is not friendly. One time at around 10am she tells us to leave the common room because they need to clean. So we ended up drinking coffee outside the hostel. The room is clean but smells unpleasant."

Proper Japanese style house which is slightly worn but overall in good condition. would definitely stay again. 1st floor: big bedroom, bath/shower room, separate toilet 2nd floor: kitchen/living room, large tatami room with futon mats, toilet (no shower/bath) 3rd floor: 2 bedrooms with beds, another room without a bed bring your own hand towels!"
