“Had a very pleasant stay in this LA hotel”

Staff was very attentive and friendly; room is very nice and well maintained, comfortable and convenient location - I like it because it is close to many restaurants. Great stuff in the room, I find it quite unique than other bigger chain hotels. Hotel offers concierge service who helped reserve with shuttle service from airport to hotel - very nice!

“Nice little hotel”

The Brandwood is very clean! You do have to walk up stairs but that was not a problem for us. The second door at the back entrance would stick after entering the code and there is an immediate step up once the door is opened. The first time I went in this way I tripped. Other than that, I thought this was a very unique little hotel. It was very quiet and private. The bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and excellent service.

“posh boutique hotel”

Very nice rooms a little bit out of the ordinary. Good location but not as close to the shopping mall as I was hoping. Good restaurants nearby and a great bakery/coffee shop just down the street.

“Friendly Boutique Hotel”

We stayed at the Brentwood over the New Year holiday and enjoyed our experience. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff and their ability to offer good suggestions about the area including driving tips. We felt the price was most reasonable given the location (six miles from Pasadena) and close to freeways. Other than the lack of an elevator and relatively small rooms, we couldn't have been more pleased.

“Excellent place!”

This was a wonderful hotel only steps away from a great restaurant (Jax, on the first floor) and a short walk from LOTS of shopping. As a stepping stone to greater LA, it has easy access to major highways. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff was excellent. There was only one tiny disappointment: no closets in which to hang long dresses! There are also stairs at this hotel. Very tall, steep stairs. This is not necessarily a bad thing! ;-)

“Unbeatable Service”

Nice little boutique hotel, really enjoyed the stay. It is within walking distance to almost anything Burbank has to offer. Had a rental car, but the hotel manager offered to drive my friend and I out to Universal Studios to catch a concert, and not have to fight the traffic with the car, or walk a long ways. Never experienced that kind of service before. Only complaint was that the AC ran and smelled like gas, had to keep a window open while using it.

“Hidden Gem”

It takes a bit to pick it out, but the Brandwood is one of the most comfortable hotels in which i've stayed. Nice quiet rooms, big fluffy beds, and easy access to all of LA (to say nothing of Glendale, which also has its charms). We'll definitely return to the Brandwood!

“Love the Brandwood!”

The room was extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The room was small but very space efficient with a big wardrobe, tons of cabinet space. The coffee in the room is awesome. The service was good. The stairs didn't bother me and it was not really a big deal to park in the back and go in through the back door. I was staying there with just my 6-year-old and the stairs/parking was no big deal. It was loads of fun being in the middle of all that shopping and restaurants, cafes, especially Porto's! We walked to dinner, movies, shopping, etc. every day, no need to get in the car. It was reasonably quiet. The a/c is noisy but it's a white noise that didn't bother us. The bed was super comfy. The window looks out onto nothing (concrete wall) but it lets in a tiny bit of light. This didn't really matter because we weren't spending time hanging out in our hotel room. It is a really fun location and highly recommended if you can handle walking up a flight of stairs or two. My kid had fun punching in the codes you need to get in the back doors. I am returning to LA in July and will hopefully stay there again.

“Definitely impressed”

This is my first time to write a review for Brandwood Hotel but not my first stay with them. I find something particularly charming and special to this hotel besides the fact that the people working here are always so warm and welcoming, always engaging and good natured and well mannered which is what really makes me come back when I need a place to stay after my business trips in this part of LA. The room decors, comfort and cleanliness already speak for itself, and the quality and service is nothing like you will find from other chain hotels. They also always do their best to accommodate their guest's concerns as they did for me in the past; and what is very interesting is the fact that they keep on bringing in some little extra stuff to make a stay as comfortable and convenient as it can be. Overall, there are a lot of good things and good people in this hotel and that sure makes up for the little downsides to this boutique hotel. And I am very happy and satisfied with every stay at the Brandwood Hotel.
