Waterfront Cabin


Timeout Cabin is in the peaceful community of Laurel Lakes. The 1.38 acres has a Cabin (sleeps 4) and Treehouse (sleeps 2) on the property with property frontage to Eagles Lake. You have access to a smaller boat to go out on the water to fish, or enjoy the beautiful views during the day, while sitting around a campfire making smores with family at night. Our guests may choose to bring food to cook in our fully stocked kitchen, or go out for a nice meal at one of the local Mentone restaurants. TimeOut is perfect for families to take a longer vacation with access to the washer/dryer or for a couples weekend to recharhe. This is a non-smoking rental property. We welcome house trained furry family members to tag along for a small pet fee.

You are within 8 minutes of downtown Mentone, and within 20 minutes of Fort Payne, AL. You are close to DeSoto Falls and Little River Canyon.

Wonderful Time!
The cabin was great! Upon arrival, one will find everything to be in pretty clean condition and we were provided with generous amounts of amenities, including a washer and dryer. The only couple of minor complaints that we had, one of which we do NOT blame the owners of the property (since they have no control over it), is the poor signal and the slightly misleading WiFi information (specifically the name and password). However, we contacted one of the owners through Vrbo, and she was very kind and caring about assisting us over the WiFi issue (thank you, Melissa!). Overall, it was a very solid experience and one that we will consider doing again soon next Winter (or even before that)! We are originally coming from the south Florida region, and we enjoyed every bit of the time spent here in Mentone, AL. Thank you so much for everything! Do not hesitate renting this property, guys. You will not regret it!

TimeOut was terrific
We stayed for 2 nights at TimeOut cabin. It was a beautiful stay and stocked with everything we needed. It was on a beautiful property that we enjoyed so much. It was very quiet and peaceful and a bonus pet friendly. Our pups loved it. The decor was cozy and we loved all the things to look at on the walls and around the rooms. Thank you for a much needed time out!

Mentone Fall Trip
This property was perfect for a Fall getaway with the family and dogs. We felt like we actually went on a vacation not far from home. The lake, the downtown shops and restaurants and the changing leaves made it even better. We highly recommend this place.
