Nice hostel in the downtown
I had to arrive late but I first contacted the hostel to see if it wasn't an issue and I was told that there was no problem. I arrived around 2am and there wasn't anyone at the reception and I had to wait for a while before somebody opened the door, he was mad because he had to get up and just showed me my bed and that was it. That was the only 'bad thing' about the hostel, I stayed for two days and overall it was good.

Great stay at Casa Jade. Excellent location near the central plaza and an easy walk to all nightlife. Friendly, easy going management. The building is a historic gem with a lot of communal space and a good shared kitchen. The private room has a huge private terrace; it's basic but comfortable and an exceptional value.

Comfy and clean hostel with reasonable price.
I was very satisfied with the staff, breakfast, and overall states of this hostel. It's a bit inconvenient to take a shower and the light at night is not bright. But the room is still cozy, staffs are really nice and careful for the travelers, and very good location to go to a lot of terminals in Merida. Perfect street view when you come out of the room and head to balcony.
