Scared & not safe
Was greeted to a musty smell in the home, walking up a narrow staircase I had no idea would be there The front porch & steps did not feel comfortable or safe to walk on, & the neighborhood did not feel safe either (drug people) walking up & down the alley buying drugs from dealers in the playground across the street (I personally witnessed this!!!) A machine gun & clip painted across the alley driveway entrance overgrown with poison oak on the fence, poison ivy in front & full of 16” tall weeds & dandelions in the cracked and uneven concrete did not make for a comfortable arrival to this home The basement was full of water 1/2” over floor after it rained causing the musty moldy smell throughout the house, hence why there were so many plants in the home I’m guessing My mobility impaired family could not easily navigate the steps to the home that were not shown in the listing No hot water at kitchen sink Hoped we didn’t get robbed every time we went outside. 2 locks on barred glass storm door & 2 locks on interior door were aggravating to lock & unlock every time you went in & out of the house Some Doors not tight unless deadbolt was latched Handrails loose & wiggly Bathroom door can’t be closed while sitting on the toilet Parking space full in front of house along street at initial arrival so had to use narrow tight overgrown alley entrance & walk across trip hazard concrete into back entrance Fence & gates inoperable Did not feel safe entire time

Botanical Wonderland
This is the first time I have used Vrbo and I like the process. The property is has been designed by a perfectionist; everything was perfect. And that is the start. It is a Botanical Wonderland. I never knew so many plants and the plants have names ! The host had made the process so easy and welcoming. The house is in a quite area and I had the option of sleeping upstairs or downstairs. So, I slept upstairs and the view was great. I highly recommend this place and gave it all the stars possible. Vbro should ask for stars on how many things in the kitchen I did not use because it is fully stocked for all the possible things you could need for 1 month's worth of stay ! Thanks to the host, Khurram. Will come back and stay again when I revisit Milwaukee in spring of 2024 to see my grandson.
