Needs upgradingPosted Feb 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The grounds were beautiful, good pool, views, grills and kitchen well equipped. People friendly. Unfortunately the apartment was shabby but clean. Close to town... need a car. Molakai is pretty rural. Only stayed one night. Hopefully they will upgrade units and furniture then it will be great. Feb. 2013.

Stayed in condo 221 and was well maintained. WIFI was at office only. Cable TV. Realname to all is Molokai Shores. Great Sunrise and sunset. Worth trying

Taken back in timePosted Jun 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
It was okay. There was no blinds so everyone could see into our room at all times of the day. No hotel service. Didn't have enough towels for the four of us. There was no towels to take down to the pool. There was no one to replenish towels. The kitchen equipment were rusty and old.

Clean, Convenient & SpartanPosted Jun 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
We are not the sort to stay in the room all day, so Molokai Shores was just fine. Beautiful view of the ocean and well-kept grounds offset the Spartan in-room experience. The room was very clean and the hotel was convenient to oceanfront dining at Hotel Molokai and a variety of shops/eateries in Kaunakakai town. At the hotels.com discounted rate, we thought it was a good value for four adults sharing a two-bedroom room.

Castle Resorts - Molokai ShoresPosted Mar 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Our stay there went well. However the condo unit (A305) left much to be desired: There were no curtains over the sliding door to the lanai and the common grounds. There were no table knives or even kitchen knives – just three small steak knives. Several balusters in the steps to the loft were new but not stained. The carpet was heavily stained. There was no lamp shade on the lamp on the couch end table. The hanging lamp over the eating table was completely missing. The unit had beds for four, but only two chairs at the table and only three on the lanai. Low speed on one or two of the ceiling fans did not work; they just stopped. We realize that each unit is individually owned, but Castle Resorts should monitor more closely the units they handle.

Mahalo!Posted Jan 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
I enjoy the privacy and freedom of being in a condo rather than a hotel. I made specific requests when booking my room and all were accommodated! Mahalo, Hotels.com!

Location: Drive to the west beaches they are so beautiful
The only thing I had to watch out for was an occasional roach in the toaster at the condo or in your bag -so check your bags before you leave for home -- the condo was comfortable and convenient a bit overpriced but I did really enjoy the island from this location the beach and ocean view is very nice -- although you cannot swim in the water due to the land misuse by greedy Europeans for pineapple years back --it is still great to meditate and rest in this beautiful enviornment Please do Not use Island Kine rent a car" Steve" the owner is a total rip off -- a wonderful woman who resides at Castle Shores Molokai informed me of a much better company

Few choicesPosted Mar 17, 2010
I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past 11+ years. It was much the same this time as previously. Some rooms are updated more often than others. The room I had was in good shape and in a good location not close to the highway, so was quiet.
