Being situated in the Pacific Ocean has its perks. You can start or end your cruise in Hawaii or take advantage of the cheap hotel deals Hawaii has to offer to experience the many wonders mother nature has in store for you. Humpback whales migrate from Alaskan feeding grounds every winter to holiday in the warm waters surrounding Hawaii. If you're lucky, you might see a frolicking whale leap out of the water during one of many whale-watching catamaran cruises. Equally, dolphins seem to love Hawaiian water, and glass bottom cruises are the ideal way to view these intelligent animals in their natural habitat.

The islands are also home to some of the biggest waves on earth. Waves at Jaws Beach on Maui can reach heights of 70 feet and move at 30 miles per hour. For this reason, it has become something of a Mecca for experienced surfers the world over.

For people who like their sea slightly less choppy, Hawaii also has some of the world's most beautiful snorkeling spots. Molokini, for example, has the clearest water in Hawaii, with visibility often at 200 feet, and is teeming with vibrant aquatic life. Take advantage of Hawaii hotel deals – whether you like your waves big or small - so you can stay at the best hotels in Hawaii to enjoy the islands’ waters.

From the air, a helicopter ride along the Kohala Coast explores stunning sea cliffs opening into the majestic valleys of the Kohala Mountains. Much of Hawaii is not accessible by foot, but a helicopter ride offers an unparalleled vantage above untouched landscape.

    Cultural embrace

The culture of the native Hawaiian people has been enjoying a proud rebirth. The best way to experience this cultural uprising is at a Polynesian Luau, where the history, music, and dance of Hawaii are celebrated by women in grass skirts, men with face paint, and crowds of fire dancers.

Of course, Hawaii had a major part to play in the Second World War, and the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor pays tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on December 7, 1941.

Be it on land, in the ocean, or from the air, the true power and beauty of nature reveals itself in Hawaii. But while its volcanoes bubble and its waves roar, the people of these islands are able to relax, smile, and enjoy the finer things in life. And when you visit, they'll encourage you to do the same when you stay at hotels in Hawaii – no matter if you prefer luxury hotels, 5 star hotels or enjoy all inclusive hotels in Hawaii. This state like no other is ready for you.

    "Amazing Resort"
Hyatt Ragency Maui is by-far the best resort in the Kanapaali beach area. Our only issue was that the ocean is very rocky in that area. Other than that it's a beautiful hotel with great staff.

Facilities were nice overall but obviously old. Windows and doors etc... showing signs of age and, though the resort's public areas were in good condition, the room we were in showed the last remodel to be a slap-dash by inexperienced technicians. The pools also had some damaged / over-worn areas very poorly executed repairs. Food on site (including breakfast buffet) was pretty good.

This was our 5th time to stay at the Mana Kai condos. It is on a beautiful beach. We love watching the sunsets and swimming and snorkeling in front of the condos. I enjoyed the yoga studio and being able to rent chairs, paddle boards, and kayaks. We were also able to watch whales from our balcony!

    "Good amenities and nice service"
Our room was available before check in although we lined up to be checked in for about 20 minutes, and our room was large with an outdoor patio with some view of the ocean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Bathroom vent was not working so foggy after shower. Air conditioning needs adjusting as I felt warm at night. Large property with 5 towers and about 4 pools.. very busy with families with kids. My teenagers like to go the gym in another hotel building across ours. I love that everywhere can be walkable - to the beach, pool, stores, mall. Pools are open early at 7 or 8 am until 9 pm and plenty of lounge chairs but go early to get good spots.

"Probably the best hotel on the beach "
Locationwise, the best on Waikiki. The best pools. The infinity pool sold us. Lobby and check in area is vast and has lots to see and offer. Many guest services and amentities offered. Views of the island and beach are one of the best. For the most part, the servers at the pool area were good. There were a couple who seemed to pick and choose who they wanted to wait on. The customer service was very inconsistent. Needs to be a better method to qualify hotel guests in the pool area. Seems to be a lot of singling out of people based on looks.
