Friendly helpful staff

I stayed in Montreal for one night with my parents and needed a hotel walking distance from the U.S. Consulate, not being from Montreal I asked the front desk a lot of questions to help me out and everyone I encountered was super friendly and made sure they helped me the best they could! As well it was pouring rain and they gave us three huge umbrellas to borrow for the day, great service! Would definitely go back.

Convenient to all of downtown

Delta receptionstaff are very friendly and helpful -offering help to find Montreal bagels, museums, and anything else you ask. They could give lessons to other hotel chains.

I went to Montreal to a conference, and the hotel experience was great, location was very practical and staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful hotel and staff; the only complaint my wife and I had were the pillows, too soft for our liking, but otherwise, great experience!

Nice hotel, well situated in the downtown

Cons: The swimming pool area was in need of cleaning and looked poorly kept
The hotel was well position in the downtown area with good access to local amenities, the Metro and several restaurants and bars which were within a 10-15 walking distance.

A great stay!

Pros: The decoration of the hotel is simple yet warm and comfortable.
Cons: 1st room we were given was a bit worn out - besides the problem of the bed, edges of some wooden furniture was chipping. The balcony can be beautified
Location: Department stores (e.g. the Bay) and shopping malls (e.g. Centre Eaton); also close to McGill University.
This is the second time I am staying at Delta Montreal. The hotel staff was always helpful and friendly - we made a somewhat picky request to change the room because the springs of the bed made some slight screeching sounds, but the front desk staff member was so hospitable that she agreed to move us to a bigger room on a higher floor (with an additional sofa) right away, no questions asked, even sending a bellboy to facilitate with the move. I really appreciated this spirit of service which puts customers at the fore.

Very good overall

I enjoyed my stay there overall.The desk staff were efficient , the room and cleaning staff were excellent.The only minor issue was the Hotel bar where the prices were high and one of the staff was not suited for the service industry. Overall, a relaxing a peaceful stay.

Very nice hotel, bed was very comfortable. Was there for a business meeting, room is well designed to work. Would stay at the Delta again.

Overall a good stay. 2 minor issues - room had an awkward layout so TV was far from bed and chairs and AC/Heat unit was quite noisy. Otherwise everything was great.
