The garden opens daily from morning until late afternoon. It occasionally closes in instances of increased levels of forest fire danger. Admission is free but there is a fee for parking, except on Sundays and holidays.
Find the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden in the Mount Lofty district in the southeastern part of Adelaide. Drive southeast from the city center for 9 miles (15 kilometers) to get here in about 20 minutes. It is also a short drive from the Mount Lofty train station.
