"The property sits perfectly tucked in the mountains. Wonderful scenery, we saw bald eagles perched enjoying morning coffee. The river being so close to the house makes for a very calming atmosphere. I would absolutely visit this property again."

"This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. We loved it and look forward to the next visit!"

"This cabin is very clean and comfortable. We especially liked all the outdoor seating areas, from the chairs by the river to the upper deck with gas fireplace! Ryan was very prompt in responding to all of my questions and comments."

"Things I liked about the property: Convenient location to many great fishing location, house old but very clean, quiet, plenty of parking, nice fridge/freezer and kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Things I wish were better: furniture not comfortable, bed pillows were clean but not comfy, small bathroom, toilet worked but low water pressure. Would stay again and better than a hotel."

The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. "This house has even more space and charm than the photos convey! The house is situated on a nice, quiet street in a lovely area. I loved the roominess, tasteful decor, the screened porch and yard and more. The hosts were communicative and responsive to every need. In fact, they seemed to anticipate every need and desire ahead of time. This has been the best experience and we would stay here again and again!"

"This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. "Convenient location just off the main road. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. Plenty of room to hang out between the living room upstairs and the game room downstairs. The dishwasher was out of order. The phone numbers for contacting the property manager didn't work, but after e-mailing, we got a call back and there was no difficulty after that. It would've been nice if towels were provided, but the listing advised that they weren't so we were prepared."

We are all over 70, one is 83, so we were not looking to do much other than just be together and relax. We just wanted to get out of town for a couple of nights. Would recommend it to others. M.B."

"Our family stayed here for our sons wedding that was nearby. The house was very clean check in was super easy and communication was excellent. Handicap ramp was super for my dad in a wheelchair however this was the only handicap accommodation. Yes we would stay here again!"
