"We came to Virginia from Michigan for our friend to visit with family she hadn’t seen in 12 years they live on Vetrans hwy. this was about as close as we could get a rental. It was wonderful. Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. We fished and cooked breakfast but didn’t have enough time to do everything the lodge had to offer. You could easily stay for one or two weeks and stay busy! "Recommend advising your guests about the steep driveway and that it requires a higher clearance vehicle. Our friends sustained car damage at the top of the driveway. Need hooks in bathroom. Need a regular coffee maker, not a Keurig. Need more blankets! Otherwise, fun cabin."

"What a wonderful property. If you want a stay in a work of art tucked on the side of a mountain this is your place. Everything you could need less food or clothing is provided including internet. We encountered one blip and the property owner immediately solved the problem, at 10 pm no less. The hot tub is icing on the cake and perfect after a day of hiking Mount Rogers. You will not find a nicer place to stay if planning a trip to Grayson Highlands State Park."
