Nisbet Plantation Beach Club
Located on a quarter-mile-long stretch of sandy beach, the quiet Nisbet Plantation Beach Club was originally built as a sugar plantation in 1778. An avenue of tall palm trees leads from the original plantation's 18th-century great house and sugar mill down to the beach. The resort offers a full-service spa, The Palms Spa, an illuminated tennis court, swimming pool, croquet field, and beachside bar that hosts a complimentary weekly rum-punch party. A shop sells resortwear and gifts. Although guestrooms don't have televisions, there is one in the Great House's game room. Private parking is available at no extra fee and beach umbrellas, hammocks, and towels are also provided.
