Great Hotel. Personal attention is fantastic here. All staff know you by first name and work very hard to make your stay very special. The food was really very good. I loved the diningroom in the great house. Somethings which would be nice: Ipod docking station in the room for music. Things to know. No TV in room, but there is one in the main house where we were able to watch the Patriots game. Beach is small but very private.

    "Lovely beach, great views. "
We needed to stay on St Kitts for one day after visiting Nevis. Preferred near airport. Marriott has very large public spaces. Lots of pools, nice beach. Variety of restaurants.....but for dinner it is best to reserve early. Guest rooms are large and comfortable. We had just arrived from a week on Nevis. The Marriott on St Kitts is more akin to large tourist hotels you can find "anywhere". Room for kids to run around and enjoy pools and beach. If that is what you want, probably cheaper to just go to Miami. If you want a more "authentic" experience of the islands, look for something smaller and perhaps run by locals. But if you are travelling with kids under 18, they would probably prefer the Marriott !

    "No complaints and will return!"
If you are expecting the Marriott, this is not the place for you. If you want a smaller resort with nice people then I would definitely recommend. We had a standard room which was good size with a nice balcony facing the ocean. If you stay in mountain view room, it still has a balcony but much smaller. The room had basic furniture, my biggest problem was the super firm bed! The air conditioning worked great and shower had super hot water! We were in the 2nd farthest to the last building and you could hear some of the music from the places on the beach, we just slept with the patio door closed. I imagine if you were in a building closer to the ocean it would be larger, but we did not find it annoying. I also viewed their one bedroom condo which is huge and very nicely furnished and the mattress did not seem as firm. I would upgrade and stay in it next time. Laurel at the front desk was always cheerful and helpful. The guys that maintain the property were always friendly. The water does occasionally get turned off at night by the island water authority. We did have one day were they also had to turn it off during the day for a short time.....not that big of a deal. Lots of monkeys, cats, and chicken wander the property. It was fun to watch the baby moneys playing! Beach area at Timothy is small, but you can walk down the beach a short way. It would be nice if they picked up the trash on the beach daily or at least a few times a week. Also more concrete bases to put up the sha
