Summary

Just a few steps from fun in the sun, this cozy, private oceanfront home is located directly on the beach. The covered deck overlooks the beach, providing the perfect place to unwind.. The kitchen, living area and dining area all overlook the Atlantic Ocean and beach with great views of the breaking waves, ships and jumping dolphins in the distance. This place has everything you need for a comfortable vacation.

The space

Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a casual living room, dining area, and a large deck to enjoy the ocean..

Guest access

You'll have the entire upper level of the home to yourself. There is a private entrance and will only share the upper unit with guests in your party.

Transit

Parking is available outside the unit.
It is very easy to drive around here and there are also local buses and taxis available. Uber and Lyft are also an option.

Beach Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family! We all absolutely loved it & would love to come back. Location was excellent. The only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer. Plenty of open space in the family room/dining areas with gorgeous views of the beach. My family and I are looking forward to planning another trip so we can stay here again!

Some Pros and Cons
As other reviews have mentioned, the property is in need of repairs and upkeep. The fridge door has to be lifted or it won’t close. The kitchen has the bare minimum utensils as well compared to other properties. The beds were all uncomfortable but the AC worked well and the seating was great. It’s a beautiful beachfront view but the public parking was a security concern. There was a fight that broke out and man who “broke down” overnight and made my teenagers nervous by his interactions with them.

Beautiful view!
Overall the house was very nice, like in previous reviews, the fridge door, pops open, you have to watch it, and make sure to push it closed,even when getting in the freezer, or your food will ruin. Also, like in the previous post, very few bath towels and wash cloths. One towel per person honestly doesnt work. However, we didnt let it ruin our stay. The view from the deck is beautiful. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to my friends.

New Smyrna is a nice small beach town with great beaches. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed on the beaches. The property has many deferred maintenance issues.

Right on the beach
We enjoyed our stay at this property. New Smyrna is a favorite of ours so we have stayed at several other condos. For the price we were able to book the location was perfect with beach access right out the front door. A few days that were a little on the cooler side we were still able to enjoy the beach from the deck in the comfy chairs provided. There is only one tv in the unit but we rarely had it on. Loved the layout of the unit. A few things that need maintenance are the fridge door as we had to kind of lift up on it to make sure it closed. The mattress on the king bed was harder than our liking and would recommend at least a mattress topper for it as it seems it may be older. The shower in same bathroom was a little dark. The door lock could be a little quirky when leaving to get it to lock. All small things compared to all we liked about the place. We would stay again.
