Great Place for the Price

Posted May 24, 2015
The rooms are older but they were clean and very comfortable. I was concerned about reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. While they are not updated, they are clean, comfortable and for the price it was unbeatable.

It is worn out looking. There was dried blood on the toilet handle and toilet bowl had growth in it. The night stands and table tops were dirty. The bed however was comfortable and clean.

Not what is advertised

Posted May 12, 2015
Cons: Advertise what you actually have
The "heated pool" was closed in May with 60 degree weather, the WiFi was so slow it didn't work, and the "lounge" hasn't existed in who knows how long. Terrible experience and very disappointed.

Outdated place. Smelled nasty. No breakfast. Coffee pot hasn't been cleaned and couldn't use it.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Price and location
Cons: Update the shower head and lighting. Replace the towels and TV's
The motel was easy to find and plenty of parking. The beds appeared to be clean and comfortable however the towels had yellow stains. The TV was old and the picture was poor. Walls are thin so I could hear people coming in all hours of the night as well as a baby crying at 3:00 in the morning.

I expected better of Ramada Inn

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Clean enough.
Cons: Not worth rebuilding given the location.
Location: It is off/off the freeway and off the old highway - becoming a run-down area. Shop and eat.
I was looking for an economical accomodation, and I am usually satisfied if not pleased with Ramada Inns. The buildings and rooms were clean and without overriding or offending odors (nonsmoking was nonsmoking - give it an 7 out of 10 for that). A second small garbage container would have been nice in the bathroom. The service was adequate. The clientele were frightening! Single and pairs of middle-aged men ghosting around at night and some pretty brutish behavior. I would have thought it a truck stop hotel except I only saw one truck in the parking lot. Overall, I would be willing to stay here again if I was on a road trip and needed a cheaper stop. It is not a resort!

go elsewhere

wow, where to begin....we couldn't get the free WiFi to operate correctly, the room was dark and so drab. the bathroom was not clean by any stretch of the imagination, the sink was clogged, we didn't even dare to shower. the floor had hairs from previous tenants. i just was so underwhelmed by it we canceled our second night and went home to our own mattress that at least has our OWN worn spots. last but not least, when we turned on the heater, it smelled of urine.

Older hotel, charming, well kept up.

Pros: Clean
Cons: Less chlorine in the hot tub. It left our eyes burning a little.
One male staff member wasn't aware that there were multiple ways to enter and exit the hotel. Other than that we were very happy and will return in March for the "Chrome Under the Dome" event.

Run down hotel.

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Not a thing
Cons: Cleaniness, and about everything else one can think of.
Location: Close to the free-way, and down-town Pocatello.
Hotel needs a major overhaul as it is shabby and not apparently maintained. The desk-man/receptionist was pleasant, but he was the best thing about tthe place. The advertised on- site restaurant is closed, although a lounge/bar opens at 6:00pm.. There was no continental, or any other type of breakfast available. The room may or may not have been cleaned, but the bed linen had been changed. The desk/table in our room had a broken leg, and the arm chair was well used with sagging springs, so hard to struggle up and out of.
