Large children's wading pool. Beautifully manicured tropical grounds. Picnic, jogging, and barbecue area, 24 hour gated security. Excellent palapa restaurant on beach. Also, grocery store nearby on the bus route. Local boats for fishing. Sightseeing always at beach. The most successful turtle preserve in P.V. Perfect honeymoon atmosphere. Only three condos per floor. Very quiet, private, and exclusive private owner condominium.

Great winter break
The owner and family members provided us with a lot of useful information about to apartment and PV. The apartment is unique and perfect for a peaceful stay within a short distance to downtown. Highly recommend.

Charming Mexican Getaway
Clean and charming condo with amazing views, awesome location, and beautiful secure grounds. Finishes were original/dated which we loved but it may not be for everyone. Host Irene was lovely to speak with but because she is elderly now her ability to communicate via e-mail or text was limited. Her daughter Melanie was fantastic at filling in the gaps. Local friends and Playas Gelemas workers were also great at giving referrals and answering any questions we had once we got there. Hoping to return often! *Note that one of the big pools is "under construction" for the unforeseeable future. The other heated pool was beautiful and totally sufficient.

Not at all as advertised
This property is run down. The single-room air-conditioner does not work. And even if it did, the doors to the balcony do not close so any benefit would be lost. Electric appliances are ancient. Upon entering, sand on the floor was the first indication of poor housekeeping. Then, finding mildewed sheets on the bed along with a bloody bandaid stuck to the comforter completed the "ambiance". We immediately attempted to contact the owner who did not return our call until two days later - AFTER - we left! Beware!

Absolutely Paradise!
We love visiting PV, we were lucky to find Irene's condo available for our dates. It is located in one of the best buildings on the perfect beach. We loved all the traditional mexican decor, down to the cute painted rocks used as door stoppers, our son named them all. Thank you very much Irene, we felt very welcomed and at home in you fabulous condo. Sunsets from the 11th floor are absolutely gorgeous! We felt very safe at all times, the security and staff are wonderful. We will definitely return!! Thank you, The Acosta's

What a tranquil spot!
Coming in to this trip you feel like a welcomed guest. Irene is very generous in sharing information and insight - especially the best places to go. Feeling prepared, the trip was made easier using her offered transportation. Alone, I was a little nervous, yet Mario made it totally easy. Holding up a sign, I found him easily, swinging by Walmart for groceries on the way home. The fridge/freezer was a normal size, easily accommodating my purchases. This was a good thing, as the restaurant next door was temporarily closed, however I soon found the bus to be right outside the complex, and easy to access. The staff on site was wonderful, particularly Alex. I was delighted to find myself very high up (right below the penthouse), one of 3 units on the floor. There were no bad views . While I tried Le Kliff for dinner (their happy hour did not exist), the view from Irene's was superior and I can't imagine finding a better sunset anywhere. I did find it helpful to spray my legs with bug spray when leaving the condo, particularly down by the pool and at restaurants (even Le Kliff) -- there were a lot of no-see-ums, and I served as a meal for insects until I got the spray. Also, most nights you can see at least 2 fireworks displays to the north, in additional to the mass of stars. Irene's condo is like stepping into her home, which is decorated with cultural treasures including art work and unique, specially designed textiles that reflect the folk culture of the city. I left both doors open all the time as I enjoyed very much the sound of the waves, and was constantly surprised to see the flocks of pelicans go by once or twice a day (never when I had my camera at hand). I found 2 favorite restaurants: - the River Cafe (fabulous chicken enchiladas for breakfast, zucchini and pineapple bread, and great margaritas in the afternoon), and also Pipi's. While the Guadalajara Pharmacy is popular, I did had 3 unpleasant experiences (twice traveling with friends, once alone), where we were treated very rudely by separate individuals behind the counter, ignored while others who'd come later were helped first 2 out of 3 times, and a general lack of interest in being nice -- not the norm for people in this city. Alone the third time, I left and found a small pharmacy a few doors down to the south where the lady was wonderful. My only disappointment was looking ahead to next year - she's really booked up already!!

A slice of paradise
This condo is a perfect location. Great view, lovely swimable beach, safety and comfortable bed. Everything you need to relax and refresh. We are frequently at the palapa on the beach and the staff there was so friendly and helpful. Taxis easy to grab to go downtown. We will definitely be back. Thanks Irene.

Paradise
Pictures do not do this lovely place justice. We’ve never taken so many pictures and videos. Every sunrise, every sunset was magnificent, the whales, the porpoises... breathtaking beauty surrounded us on every side. We did nothing but rest and luxuriate in the pools, eat delicious meals from the Palapas next door and watch the baby sea turtles being released practically every night. The local charm of the interior kept us in the vacation mood, and the perfect temps left the ocean walls of the condo open 24/7 - as I say.... paradise.
