While we were in Brussels, we took a local train to Braine L'Alleud station to visit Waterloo battlefield/Lion's Mound. The museum was excellent and climbing 225 steps was worth the trouble. I will recommend the hotel."

"Great location, could not get better price for family of 4. usually in Europe, you would need to book 2 rooms but this hotel had small twin beds next to the double sized bed. Location was so great, 2 blocks from Grand Palace. Great value, would recommend."

Area is walkable and uptown location is much better than being in city center. They also offered free walking tour for uptown, which was very nice. Would not walk to far from the hotel at night, we walked about half a mile to find a convenient store and was surprised how uncomfortable we felt even during the day. Only stayed one night (planned that way) so didnt leave the hotel after that walk."
