Das Hotel befindet sich zwischen vielen Botschaften in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, den man zu Fuß gut erreichen kann (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß). Hier kommen auch die Shuttlebusse von den Flughäfen an. Das Zimmer ist groß und bietet neben einem Kühlschrank einen kostenfreien Safe. Es ist kein richtiges Hotel, daher keine Bar, Rezeption oder Frühstücksraum vorhanden. Aus diesem Grund ist es unbedingt erforderlich, dass vorab die Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt wird, damit man von jemandem in Empfang genommen werden kann. Das Frühstück, welches man mit einem Gutschein in einem Café um die Ecke bekommt, besteht aus einem Croissant und einem Kaffee, was vollkommen in Ordnung ist. Zimmer und Bad sind sauer. Täglich wird aufgeräumt, Müll entsorgt, das Bett gemacht und die Handtücher gewechselt. Für Paare oder Leute, die günstig ein paar Tage in Rom verbringen wollen, vollkommen ausreichend und in Ordnung. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Empfehlenswertes 2* Hotel Nähe Termini
Ich stiess aufgrund der guten Kritiken auf dieses kleine 2* Sterne Hotel. Wir haben zig Städtereisen getätigt, das erste Mal 2* Sterne genommen und würden das Hotel wieder nutzen. Wenige Zimmer auf einer Etage im 1. OG eines gepflegten Mehrparteienhauses inklusive Aufzug. Schwere Sicherheitstür, hintendran verbargen sich gepflegte, saubere DZ (neue Matratze, gutes Mobiliar, täglich frische Handtücher). Mit dem Besitzer des Hotels, ich würde es eher als B&B bezeichnen, hatten wir vor Reisebeginn mehrmaligen Mailkontakt. Wir erhielten Wegweiser und Auskünfte rund um die Unterkunft. Man bat um Mitteilung der Ankunftszeit, so dass ein Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist, da der Besitzer ansonsten nur über Handy erreichbar ist. Wir kamen früher als geplant an. Die nette Reinemachefrau begrüsste uns in gebrochenem Englisch, händigte sofort Stadtplan mit Tipps und Schlüssel aus. Während das Zimmer gereinigt wurde, konnten wir die Koffer dort lassen, um im nahe gelegenen Cafe/Restaurant per Voucher ein Getränk und ein Gebäck zu erhalten. Dort nahmen wir die restlichen Tage ebenfalls das Frühstück per Gutschein ein (Getränk und Gebäck - uns langte es. Wer richtig frühstücken will, ist fehl am Platz oder muss zuzahlen). Personal war immer nett, diese Konstellation des Frühstückens war toll. Gute Wohngegend, meine Tochter und ich fühlten uns immer sicher. Termini, Apotheke, kleiner Supermarkt, Restaurants, tolle Eisdiele, U-Bahn, Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Hotelbesitzer empfangen, der die Rezeption nur besetzt, wenn er weiß, dass Gäste kommen. Deshalb mussten wir ihm auch die Flugdaten zukommen lassen, damit er weiß, ob der Flug pünktlich kommt. Das Einchecken ging schnell und er zeichnete uns netterweise noch auf einer Stadtkarte Orte ein, die wir besuchen sollten. Das Hotelzimmer Das Hotel selbst ist im ersten Stock eines großen älteren Gebäudes. Im selben Gebäude sind auch noch weiterer solcher "Hotels". Das Hotel liegt in der direkten Nachbarschaft zur Britischen Botschaft unweit der Deutschen Botschaft entfernt. Zum Bahnhof sind es knapp 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Zur U-Bahn Station sind es vielleicht auch 15-20 Minuten. Man kann Rom aber von hier aus sehr gut zu Fuß ohne Verkehrsmittel ablaufen. Der Eingangsbereich des Hotels war sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Wir hatten zusammen ein sehr kleines Zimmer, das Bett war evtl. 120 breit was zu zweit schon sehr eng war. Man hatte uns aber nochmals auf das kleine Bett im Voraus hingewiesen und angeboten ein größeres Zimmer belegen zu können. Die Sauberkeit war ok. Staub unter dem Bett und Schlieren an der Tapete vermutlich von Schuhen oder Koffern waren nicht so toll, aber nichts, was unangenehm aufgestoßen ist. Im Zimmer war noch ein kleiner Kühlschrank, der aber nur funktioniert hat, wenn der Schlüssel im Zimmer gesteckt hat. Wenn man nur einen Ort zum Schlafen braucht dann ist es ein gutes Hotel mit einer sehr guten Lage.
Zum Frühstück bekommt man Gutscheine für ein nahe gelegenes Caffe

Stanza molto piccola ma accogliente e pulita. Doccia ottima, colazione con ticket in un buon bar (solo caffe e brioche), personale gentile e discreto. Pareti sottili si sente tutto. Zona comoda per spostarsi in metro, tranquilla,vicino a termini. Consigliato per brevi soggiorni.
