Silver Falls Escape
We loved the location, which was close to Silver Falls State Park. The hiking was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. It could have been cleaned better but we resolved that ourselves. We enjoyed meeting the owners and Gus was quite the welcoming committee. Thanks again.

Mindy was a wonderful host. The apartment below was larger and more stylish than the pictures show on line. It was a quiet and pleasant stay with a beautiful view for sipping coffee in the morning. and just minutes from Silver Falls state park. Also tbey kept the apartment well stocked with toiletries and and kitchen supplies. I recommend this for any one visiting Silverton.

Gorgeous view
From every window you have gorgeous views of the silver creek valley and the tree covered hills. If you feel adventuress there is a trial right outside the door that leads you down a 1/2 mile to the creek that is private. Be fore warned its all downhill and steep. The hosts live on site so if you have any questions or issues its easy to contact them. My family with 2 children under 9 had a great time and enjoyed each day there.

Beautiful walkout basement suite, especially if you are looking for an out of town place to stay. Private entrance, tall ceilings, and full sized kitchen. Place was clean and bed was comfy. Awesome view of forested hills, with wild turkey gobbles in the evening, and sounds of a rooster and sheep nearby. Silverton is only 10 min away, but we enjoyed driving 20 min the other direction to hike in the Silver Falls State Park where there are amazing waterfalls! The suite is very roomy, like an apartment. Only downside was being able to hear the owner walk around, play music and talk upstairs… although it was very distant so not too bothersome — it just reminded us that we were not alone. Also be advised there is a non refundable damage protection fee added to the cost of the VRBO. Overall highly recommend!

It IS a lovely canyon. The house is beautiful, too. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. A sense of spaciousness and serenity indoors and out. A wonderful base for the Silver Falls State Park and the town of Silverton. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful remote work getaway
I had a wonderful time staying at Mindy’s beautiful home and property! I booked this place for two nights on a road trip between Seattle and San Francisco, and worked remotely while there. Internet was reliable but my Verizon cell service was pretty spotty. The place itself is very comfortable. High ceilings, super cozy king bed, large bathroom, open kitchen, and amazing views from nearly every room. Also, a wonderful patio to enjoy peaceful sunrises/sunsets. Took a walk down to the beautiful creek below their home and waded in the water. I also took the opportunity to hike nearby trail of ten falls. Mindy was very sweet and let my have my privacy. Wonderful stay! Would absolutely stay again.

The apartment was clean, stylish, and very inviting. We instantly felt relaxed and at home in the space and enjoyed the proximity to Silver Falls and the lovely town of Silverton. The property description notes all of the other local offerings and we would have been glad to spend a whole week there. As a basement apartment there was a bit of sound transfer from the above home but the excellent amenities, high ceilings, shaded patio, and sweeping canyon views make this remote apartment a 10/10.

Great Space and Nice View
It was a very well furnished and appointed space with plenty of room and a view. The owners are on site and are responsive to any problems that may arise. The only downside is having them in the floor above and hearing their footsteps and furniture moving, etc. They were clearing and planting in the lower part of the property at the time, which was fine but made it less private. The view is also across a paved driveway. Overall, it was relaxing and the space was very nice.

My friend and I were to gather for a time to meet, hike and get caught up on our lives. Unfortunately, she couldn't go. I decided to go anyway. It was absolutely lovely. The unit was immaculate, location quiet, tranquil, soothing. . . hiking in Silver Falls was a delight. I hope my friend and I can meet here sometime in the future.

The property was exactly as described and matched the pictures. Everything was clean, working, and ready for us. No issues with the parking, contactless check in, and keyless entry. We definitely had a relaxing stay. The only bit of awkwardness was that you could hear footsteps pretty heavily upstairs so you were fully aware that the residents are upstairs. Also, we personally don't have issues with dogs or cats, but they walk the property so you have to be ok with occasional dog barking. It really didn't effect our stay or sleep though. Overall it was a very peaceful and quiet location. Thank you for the accommodations!

My husband and I have done quite a bit of traveling over the last six years, staying in countless home managed lodgings and this accommodation has to be easily in the top five. It is in a beautiful, private setting. Upon walking into the apartment it is welcoming, comfortable, spacious and homey all at once. As I personally am not a fan of stark overhead lighting I appreciated that much of the overhead and lamp lighting throughout the home are on faders. One evening we enjoyed dinner on the patio that was lovely. I've read some other reviews that noted they wish they could have stayed longer as it was such an inviting space to be in and I would have to agree. The best part was the bed and pillows. The most comfortable nights sleep I have had in years. Will definitely reserve again when opportunity allows.
