“Best in area”

We love staying at this hotel because of the indoor pool and hot tub. Since we are early sleepers though, next time we will ask for a room that faces away from the courtyard!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. It's a great location and the rooms on the 3rd floor have beautiful vaulted ceilings. The beds are very comfortable. There's an in-hotel spa, and it was just a great experience. Enjoy!

“Appealing Hotel in Southbury”

We have stayed in this hotel twice, I have family in the area and needed a good location. It is comfortable and cozy. We were there during the freak Halloween snowstorm in 2011 and they did not lose power, for which we were very grateful. We have also eaten in the pub downstairs. The food (salads) were very good...ample portions and very good service. Ambiance left something to be desired but overall it served the purpose. Internet service worked great, very important to us. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again.

“Can't wait to go back”

I enjoyed my brief stay . I left and then discovered I had left my clothes hanging in the closet. I called the hotel and they were able to locate the housekeeper and had her check the room. They called me right away to let me know they had found them and would have them at the front desk for me. It was really great. I will return again.

“Nice Getaway”

This is an inexpensive hotel in a wonderful location. The proximity to the golf course is a bonus, although the reception staff at the spa are a bit 'snooty'. There are so many weddings, etc. that the dining room is seldom open, but there are some fantastic restaurants very close - ask for a list.

“Relaxing But!”

The only thing wrong with my stay was on Friday night a group of children were running around in the halls on both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel that made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. After speaking with the front desk they had a difficult time with the children as their parents were enjoying themselves in one of the banquet rooms.

“Good hotel for a good price....”

The Heritage Hotel was convenient to our conference location - lots of shops and restaurants nearby - but the hotel was nicely secluded (except for the Friendly's across the street - ice cream, hooray!) We seemed to be in the "older" portion of the hotel and the room was very small, but clean. The fitness center was great. The pool looked good, but we missed it. Wish the Spa had more options for late afternoon/early evening appointments - would have been great to get a massage after our conference. I would definitely stay there again.
