First SSI visit May 5th to May 15th
We stayed 9 nights at this condo on our first visit to SSI and really enjoyed our visit. The condo was perfect for my husband and I and in a great location and close to many restaurants and the pier. We enjoyed the nice balcony for our morning coffee and just listening to the birds. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. My only suggestion would be to have a folding drying rack to make it easier to dry damp bathing suits or towels. We made do just fine, however. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their adorable condo. We would love to come back sometime in the future.

Very peaceful and inviting. Really close to towns main strip, the beach, and restaurants. Property was very quiet and everyone was very friendly. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a couples vacatikn.

Well Equiped Condo
The condo was very well equipped and had everything we needed, including two luggage racks. Even fancy hotels often have only one. All of the linens were high quality and the bed and balcony furniture were very comfortable. The location was great. The pool is right down the stairs and it’s an easy walk into town. Something to note - the balcony looks right onto a house that is under construction. Fortunately for us it was not being worked on much during our week here.

Neat place in a neat community
I hadn’t even heard of St. Simon’s island before, but when my niece was about to graduate from FLETC I wanted to find somewhere reasonably close to stay. I found this property on St. Simons. The host was a great communicator and very helpful. My favorite pre visit touches was the offer to program a code of my choosing into the lock. That was great because I’ve been to places that I arrived at after dark, with poor lighting, and having to figure out how to get in with someone else’s code made things more difficult. That didn’t happen on any level here but if it had it would have been much easier. The property itself is very clean and well appointed. I was by myself and it was perfect. I was able to prepare all my own meals without having to buy any additional kitchen items. The location was extremely quiet at night and most of the time during the day. There is a house being built behind the unit but they start and end at sane times of the day. The neighborhood is very safe and comfortable. It’s upstairs, but that is a plus in my opinion, having rented on the first floor of similar properties in the past. I enjoyed the deck in the afternoons and walks down to the pier in the mornings. There is nothing to bring me back to the area that I know of, but if I do have a reason I would definitely book again if it’s available.

We drove four hours through the rain to arrive at the condo around 5:30pm with a 7:00 ballgame to attend in Brunswick. I kept looking for a code to be sent in the welcoming letter for entrance. I have stayed in huge homes in North Carolina and Florida using the Verbo site over the past several years with great satisfaction. As I stand at the condo I am texting you and trying to understand which four letter code you wanted me to enter. It was frustrating for me to understand that you were waiting for ME to choose a code. Easy system, once I understood. We wasted time trying to figure this out! I also think we did not know until we arrived that C6 was an upstairs unit. We don’t usually stay on second levels without an elevator. Please work on your written communication with the public. My third disappointment was the added cost to the offer of daily rental. Paying a total of over $400 for a room in February cold with the rain was much worse than the rain canceled baseball games! Extra fees were excessive. Room was just what we wanted: Clean, warm, good amenities in working order.

Exactly as advertised. Even though it’s an older 1BR flat, the complex is well taken care of and this unit is right near a very nice heated pool. Convenient location just outside the downtown village. Everything worked and communication with the host was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. We would recommend and we would rent again.

We have stayed at numerous condos at Ocean Walk, but this is our favorite! The local owners are very responsive and were so kind as to hang on to our expensive kayak paddles, that we'd accidentally left, until we could return to pick them up a couple of weeks after departure. That's definitely above and beyond!! We love the fact that they allow the guests to choose their own entry code. A couple of other condos there kept the same entry code year after year and that made us a little nervous about security. The furniture is very thoughtfully arranged to allow places to keep lots of adventure gear and supplies for our 10 day stay every year. There are lots of thoughtful conveniences that we loved: door hooks within reach from the shower, where we can put our towels; door hooks on closet doors; and two usb charging ports on a bedside table. Ocean Walk is within walking distance from the quaint downtown and light house, and from the pickleball courts where the is open play every day with lots of nice local folks in addition to visitors! We are definitely planning to try to book this unit next year. It was awesome!

Quiet and peaceful
The property was clean and convenient. Everything was provided such as linens, towels, soap and shampoo. Owners were quick to respond to our questions. The pool was right there and was very clean.
