"On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, shown to our lovely Shepherds Hut, it was clean and tidy, nothing was too much trouble for us. The pub was so welcoming, and the food was just amazing, good home cooked food! Overall we had a lovely, peaceful weekend with our collies, lots of walks and fresh air, good food and wonderful accommodation. We would definitely recommend and will most definitely stay there again."

"Our accommodation was very well presented and in a fantastic position for walking out from. It was in a quiet, remote situation, but still accessible to Church Stratton, although the road was narrow and windy, so you had to careful on your drive. The one plus on the drive to Church Stratton was having to cross Long Mynd which gave you magnificent views across Shropshire and an ideal place to walk out to and around. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. Beautiful room
"Our room was very characterful with lovely old floorboards and nice padded chairs. Super king sized bed (very comfortable). Nice selection of drinks with specialised fruit teas and hot chocolate provided in the room. Overall the accommodation is very spacious and full of period charm. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is well placed for days out to Powis Castle, lake Vyrnwy, Barmouth and many local RSPB reserves. I recommend the vegan curry."
