"Maine is spectacular in mid-October. The Primrose Apartment was the perfect location to see the colorful leaves, visit lighthouses and enjoy all both Rockland and Camden have to offer. Alex and Siobhan were gracious, thoughtful and kind hosts. The view of Glen Cove from both the kitchen window and the deck is stunning. The Primrose was the perfect property and location for our stay."

"We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back."

"We have been staying in the mid coast Maine area for vacation over the last decade and our family agreed that this house in Owl’s Head was the best of all. Every detail has been considered for guests and the house is light-filled, immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect- we saw so much wildlife, kayaked every day, and had fantastic meals just down the road in Rockland (Ada’s is our favorite). Jen is a very responsive and accommodating host. Can we give it 10 stars??"

"We spent our family Thanksgiving here and it was great. The house is spotless and welcoming. The views over the water are perfect to wake up to. My only comment is that the fireplace was out of commission so if you’re renting in cold weather, you might want to know this. Other than that, the house is absolutely wonderful."

"Exactly as described - great layout and views, especially from the 3rd floor, close to water, short walk to town, great location to explore the area. Note: as described, the stairs are very steep and would not be appropriate for someone with limited mobility."

"We stayed as a family to celebrate a birthday and Easter. This property was quite possibly the cleanest house rental we have ever stayed in! The location was perfect and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The owner was extremely great to work with and so kind and thoughtful! We would definitely love to stay again :)"

"Could not have asked for a better, easier, and more beautiful stay. Property is natural and well cared for. The surrounding wildlife esp the bald eagles scoring their breakfast on the lake was just awesome. The home itself is designed for relaxing, playing or a great family meal. "This is the second time we have stayed at this house in Glen Cove. The house suits our family well, including our dogs. We found the house spotless when we entered it. The living space works well for the six of us including our young grandsons. And waking up to the view of Penobscot Bay each morning is worth every minute of our ride from New Jersey. "PROS: We spent eight nights in this modern up-to-date home. After a couple of fits and starts regarding check-in everything went smoothly. The location, while slightly remote, is still only a 15 minute trip to Damariscotta where you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping and even a theater. The large deck and water views were a plus. "Like that we can walk to everything we’ll just about, didnt like the construction that was going on at the hotel, no restaurant in hotel and bit small bathrooms but everything else was wonderful "

"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay.
