"Really a great stay!"

"Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!"

"The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was a great "home-base" for my husband and I. We slept great. I really enjoyed using the kerosene lamps and the woodburning stove. I would absolutely recommend it."

"This was a perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. We hope to return someday and enjoy paddling on the beautiful lake in addition to enjoying the lovely view. Close enough to get to restaurants and attractions but a quiet, serene setting."

"Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spotless, had lots of windows and great views, comfortable master bed, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Owner left detailed instructions and a very helpful guide to the area. We enjoyed exploring many of the coastal towns during our stay. So much to see and do in this area and staying in Cushing was a great home-base for our trip. Thank you, DeMiceli’s!"

"The cabin was a clean, functional, and comfortable space with a good layout. Water pressure for the shower was somewhat weak. There were three large, standing dead trees on the property. A dead oak over the parking area, a sizable dead white pine to the side of the cabin, and another dead oak behind the cabin over a pair of chairs and a firepit. Likely killed by root damage from site excavation when the cabin was installed. I am an arborist by trade and it is irresponsible property management...

"Great location on beautiful pond! Cottage was very nice, well appointed, but just a little too small for us. Host was easy to communicate with. I was disappointed they no longer offered a kayak or canoe as advertised when I booked the property back in April."

"The view was AMAZING. The cabin was very neat and tidy, had everything that we needed. We received a nice email with all the information necessary a few days in advance. Check-in was super easy. "My family had a great time at the beautiful lakeside cottage. We have spent many family vacations in ME. This was one of the best. It's a great spot for multi generation family gatherings. The location was perfect. The lake is beautiful and totally serene. All the lake amenities (tubes, kayaks, float) were a huge plus. Plus the lawn, volleyball net and Zipline were perfect for extra fun. Our kids had a blast each day. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather during our week long vacation...

"New cabins on a well manicured property. Super clean all the amenities that you can ask for. Small issue with TV but wasn't a big issue for us. I would recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to be there with family and friends."

"Our accomodations were outstanding. Anytime you book into a pet friendly property and you are not pet owners, the uncertainty lingers until you arrive. Our stay was over the top. The property was clean and welcoming. We could not tell that a pet was ever present. This property is 5 star for anyone."

"Cottage was perfect for our weeklong trip. Everything was clean and worked. They prepped the exterior of the cottage for the approaching hurricane. No issues during the storm event. Held up well. Very responsive host."

"It was disappointing to not be given the code to get into the property before arriving. This meant that upon arrival, we had to call VRBO customer service to try and get in. They were helpful but unable to get in touch with the owner. Fortunately the owner finally replied to a text giving us the code so we were able to get inside but disappointing to have to wait outside while making phone calls trying to get in. The view was wonderful but we would have enjoyed it more if there was a screen door...

"This is the perfect Maine camp! Clean, comfortable and cute."

"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),...

"Still the sweet quirky house that we have come to enjoy. We spent Christmas at this house and it was lovely. The living room and Kitchen are spacious and inviting. More lighting would help brighten the kitchen. Overall, this place works well for a convenient stay in Thomaston. Host was easy to communicate with and we will return in the very near future."
