“Good deal for the price and location”
This is a good hotel for those looking for a place to sleep and shower at reasonable price at the east tucson area. Kitchenet its useful also.
“Worst place ever.”
Room was filthy and in a bad state of repair. Purchase internet service that would not even access e-mail. Bed and furnishings were stained. Floors were sticky. Totally sub standard and a total waste of money.
“Great place if you are planning just to sleep there”
Hotel staff was very helpful. Remember to bring your own shampoo/conditioner, there aren't any hotel samples. Great place if you just need someplace to sleep because you are going to be busy with all the great things Tucson has to offer such as golf, cycling and scenery. Location was convienent for us since it was near the start line for the 60 mile race for the Tour de Tucson, and the price was very reasonable.
“hard as a rock”
the room was clean, TV was tiny..... the kitchen worked great, fridge was big, but the bed was small and hard as a rock..... will not stay there again.... bummer too, cuz the price was right..
“Mediocre room service”
Mediocre room cleaning service provided. Only offer to clean room once per week. Toilet handle would stick sometime and water fill would run. Digital air conditioning thermostat was inaccurate -- gave a much lower reading I guess to fool you into not setting it cooler. TV was old style CRT and often volume set too low.
“Good Stuff”
The hotel was a very nice place to stay. Our needs were to have amenities where we could store and prepare food. It's a great location and it definately met our needs. The room had basic dishes and utensils, which was great but if you like a certain size spoon or bowl bring your own. Keep an eye on the food in the fridge. There were a few times my food froze and was no good afterwards. The only drawback was how long it too before they came to clean the room. We were there on a Monday and by Friday there was a lot of garbage and the towels needed to be refreshed. This is the kind of hotel where people stay of extended time so the service is different, but just ask for what you need and they are glad to help. We would stay there again in the future. The prices were affordable for the hot summer season.
“Not overly impressed”
The amenities were perfect. The location was perfect for my needs. The room I stayed in definitely needed a new bed. And as far as safety, I didn't feel totally safe. The door to the room did not look very sturdy.
“Toilets from hell!”
My husband and I are are not extremely picky people, However the mattresses are pretty bad and they are very noisy, just tossing and turning on the mattress woke me up. Then at 6am I got up to go "pee pee" and the toilet paper got clogged in the tiny tiny opening in the toilet and it over flowed all the way into the kitchen area..I called the front desk and wasn't too shocked since i had read other reviews with the same problem, HOWEVER the lady at the front desk told me to just use our bath towels to clean it up, and when i was done i could walk down and get more towels!!! I was frustrated , Im pregnant and its 6am and i have to get dressed, climb down a flight of stairs and go from the backside all the way around to the front of the hotel, instead of them have someone come up??? I was disgusted to say the least, finally my husband got up since he didn't want me leaving by myself in downtown tucson at 6am & pregnant, so after driving for 9 hours and 3 hours of sleep he got dressed and went down to the front check-in desk, finally the lady sent a woman up to clean up the mess and bring us new towels, but after that kind of customer service i wont stay again, the room is big however and the kitchen area is nice, but bring ur own utensils since u only get 2 of everything and not alot to work with.
“great stay at cheap rates”
it was a good visit there were no problems other than the toilet not being clean and the toilet roll holder kept falling off but things at home are never perfect either and all in all for the price and the hotel room with a nice kitchen i enjoyed this hotel and will definetly stay at it again next time i go to tucson and highly reccommend it for someone looking for a inexpensive but nice place to stay
“Good deal, great location”
Great location - 2 blocks from a Trader Joes Store. Only comment was the kitchen was equipped with only 1 pan. We called to the front desk and the clerk went out of his way to get us what we needed. Great service. We used a GPS car unit to find this hotel at night - Tucson is a fairly large city and it's always harder to find things after dark.
