Beautiful Beach

Posted May 23, 2015
Beaches Resort and spa is located on a beautiful beach. There was plenty of beach chairs available by the beach and the pool. It's a perfect place for a family vacation. The kids will love it. They have plenty of activities for the kiddies. However I didn't find the staff to be all that friendly. The food was alright. It wasn't great or horrible. Same goes for the drinks. However I did see a cockroach in the topings of the ice cream in Bobby D's restaurant by the slides. When I told the guy working there, he ignores me like it wasn't there. Other than that I found the rest of the resort to be clean and well kept.

Great all-inclusive for families

Posted May 15, 2015
Went with my husband and 5 year old son for 4 nights. Lots of great activities for kids and of course the beautiful beach! We started out in the French village which was nice, but our room with double beds was not so great. Beds were uncomfortable, and room not so impressive. We requested a switch, and they moved us to a king size room in the carribean section, with balcony which was much better. All locations are great and have something to offer. We spent most of our time at the beach, the pirate waterpark and the pool in the Italian village which was really nice. Food was hit or miss, bit mostly hit. We loved Arizona for the ribs in the Carribean section, Sky and the restaurant below (forgot the name) in the Key West Village had great food and views right on the beach. Amazing stuffed french toast for breakfast! The bakery by the stage in the French area was great for coffee or desert in the evening. Was not impressed with Bobby Dees by the pirate water park. Overall the staff was very friendly and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Always fresh supplies of towels and bottled water which was great in the heat. We had a really great time and will return!

Great All-inclusive Beachside Resort

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: There was clearly an emphasis on the part of the staff at all levels to provide as pleasant an experience as possible for all guests. Kudos to them.
Cons: Nothing except the wi-fi coverage could be a bit better
Location: Grace Beach clearly ranks as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There were enough things to do at the resort we felt no need to leave it
This was our first experience at an all-inclusive resort, and we can't stop raving about our week-long stay at Beaches. The beachside location was breathtaking, the grounds were immaculately kept, the staff was universally helpful and friendly, the activities, especially the water sports, were readily available and very enjoyable, and the food and liquor were plentiful and of the highest quality. And yes, scuba diving is included in the package! There were so many restaurants on site, we hardly had a chance to try them all. Each had its own distinctive menu, and most (especially the French, the Caribbean, and the seafood restaurants) were quite memorable. We were there with our grown children, who had as much fun as we did. During our week there were also many families with little children, who seemed to be having a great time too.

I can't imagine going any place else now....

Went to Turks and Caicos with a group of 10 family members for my dad's 70th birthday. When I say that Beaches EXCEEDED our expectations --- that's an understatement. The entire vacation, from start to finish was absolute PERFECTION. Yes, it's pricey, but remember: "You get what you pay for". I'd go back again in a heartbeat. We LOVE Beaches.

Friendly, Courteous service

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Everything!!! Amenities, Staff, location, views,
Cons: Nothing, absolutely nothing!
Location: There is so much to do at the resort. A family can be entertained for days doing different things.
We've traveled many years and this is by far the best hotel service we've ever experienced. I give them a perfect 10!!

Wonderful resort for a family with children.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Variety of dining experiences and beautiful pools and beaches. My family loved the swim up bars at all the major pools that kid and adult drinks.
Cons: They could stock more soft drink beverages like Coke Zero, Diet Sunkist, and Diet Ice Tea. Who still drinks Diet Coke, anyway?
Location: Fishing, Diving, Snorkeling are readily available. The resort is just 15 minutes from the airport.
We went to Beaches at Turks and Caicos during March spring break. I heard that the resort was 92 percent full but it never seemed too crowded. We stayed on the third floor of the Carribean part of the resort which was perfect for our needs (two small children ages 4 and 6). The staff was very friendly. There was never a lack of activities for our children. They were not old enough or inclined to let us drop them off at an age appropropriate activity but that option is available for children of all ages. The food was generally very good to excellent and there was a wide variety of food types and dining experiences. We had a wonderful time! On the downside, the bed mattress was very firm and did not suit my sidesleeping habits well---I had a cold or severe allergies and took a short visit to the on site nurse who provided me some Sudafed (that helped my vacation tremendously). On the day of departure, our bags were not brought to the lobby that morning as indicated in the general departure letter I received the evening beforehad. I tried to confirm our departure schedule with the front desk since I booked through Expedia, but I could not find someone at the front desk to actually confirm that the resort knew about our early morning departure flight. I'm not sure the resort is as detail oriented to actually schedule departure times...they seem to have general transportation arrangements for all travelers so it did not turn out to be an issue.

So much more than we expected!!

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: We loved the beautiful beach, the snorkeling, the friendly service, the cleanliness, the food choices, and the relaxed atmosphere.
This was our first stay in an all-inclusive resort with our kids (7 and 10 years old). We were very excited to go and expected to have a great time, but we could never have anticipated the effect of the lovely staff on our stay. We all loved snorkeling right on the beach at the resort, where an artificial reef has been created in the deeper part of the swimming area, and we saw many types of fish. We also went snorkeling on the free resort boat twice and once on the Kitty Kat to iguana island. From beginning to end we were treated more like friends than hotel guests. The staff were the friendliest I have seen. We loved Jessiryl, who brings drinks to the beach so quickly and always with a smile and a friendly chat. We loved Joseph, who took pictures on our snorkeling trip so that we could always remember our amazing trip. We were treated with great kindness by Lygel, the housekeeper who asked and remembered our kids' names, made them special towel animals at turn-down, and even wrote them a sweet note on our last night.

great hotel especially for families.

Loved the hotel! Loved the whole experience. Dining options were expansive--especially liked the Taste of India and Sky. Excellent pools and options for kids. Our six year old loved the kids camp! We had lots of time to relax on our own because he enjoyed the camp so much. Beautiful white sand beach. Would highly recommend!
