Better on the inside!
We were 4 adults (60+), who all found our en-suite bedrooms to be comfortable and clean. The home is generally quite nice on the inside, although the living room furniture is pretty soiled, and the kitchen drawers and cabinets could use a cleaning. The grounds are another story... The pool is gigantic and fun, but the fountains are empty, and they and everything else outside look like a dirty, neglected mess. The home is located behind a one-story office complex that has bright lights along its rear that glare directly at the home and pool area all night - as a result, you can't enjoy the pool in the evening, and the lights shine brightly into the living room all night. Overall, we had an amusing stay, but we'd be unlikely to return.

Want to stay in a mansion?
Well here it is! I can’t rave enough about this home. The very essense of Vero Beach’s Spanish style homes, plus modern pool You will be so happy not to have to travel on crowded A1A to get places but can whiz to resturants, stores and shopping in a few minutes, plus the drive to the beach is a hop, skip and a jump. I’d rent this place again in the nanosecond.

Large estate
This property is palatial. Everything is BIG: house, pool, yard. Property owners and manager are instantaneously available for all questions and concerns. Being an "historic" property, maintenance issues abound; though property owner quickly responds with maximum effort to correct. The grounds are not really designed for young children (ours were ages 3 and 5). Glass furniture; winding steps inside; sharp rock features around pool and fountains; porch drop-off. Older children and adults would enjoy.

Property review
The inside of the property was remodeled and was very nice. Bedrooms were spacious. Outside grounds could have used some landscaping and attention. We had an issue with no gas, so thus no hot water. The owners were responsive and attentive to rectifying the issue. That was appreciated. Overall a nice house and roomy space.
