"We had a great stay at the “Tree House”. We stayed 7 nights and kayaked most days with the provided kayaks. We also used the bikes and checked out the neighborhood. The channel was quiet compared to the river especially since there was some spring break activity still going on. The river was crazy busy on the weekend but that’s probably fun for younger people. "We had a great experience staying here! The house was cozy, clean and the decor was inviting! Just one issue with the listing was that it said two king sleep number beds but they weren’t sleep number and there was only one king. But it wasn’t a problem. We would definitely stay there again! "I stay on the river every year with a group to do a paddle board trip. The location was perfect, was a short paddle from the main river and walking distance from the restaurant and Roger’s park. The house looks like it was recently renovated, it’s super cute and there was plenty of room for our large group. "We had an amazing two weeks stay, the weather was lovely and the house was perfect for what we needed .Nothing was too much trouble for our host.we had a minor problem with the pool and was sorted immediately.We saw so much wildlife from the dock and fished most days.Renting the boat was an added extra but thoroughly worth the money. "I liked how close it was to the Homosassa Springs State Park Adventures. There is a bridge connecting the property to actually walk there. I treated my Mom to a Mothers Day getaway for the weekend. The Roadway Inn is under construction for renovation. But they are still open. There are friendly people at the pool and the bar/restaurant connected to the property. There is always an employee doing rounds to keep the grounds tidy. Plus, the pool is well maintained. The front desk gentleman (KP) was really friendly and suggested different activities to do in the area. I will definitely be booking another stay here for a nice relaxing getaway."
