The hotel provided an excellent experience from the front desk to room service to restaurant staff. Very friendly;Allways attentive to our needs and requests. Any questions we had where addressed immediately with a can do attitude. The staff was multilingual making communication easy. Well designed hotel from the lobby to our suite all tastefully done. Felt very safe and comfortable much like being in our own home. The morning breakfast was superb with a well planned menu to start your day off right. The restaurant was first class from staff service to chef's menu. We will definitely stay at the Tufenkian historic hotel on our next trip to Armenian.

The Meg is perfectly located: just up the hill from the Cascades/Opera House and just down the hill from the National Library (which is a must-visit for anyone coming to Yerevan). Amenities include in-room breakfast and taxis always available outside the front gate. Also, you're in the same building as the Sakharov Human Rights Center... what's not to like?

Europe Hotel is a comfortable, clean, homely hotel just minutes away from the main Square. The room had everything I could need for my ten day stay : queen bed, luxury bathroom with hairdryer, flat screen TV,desk, plenty drawers and hanging space for clothes and belongings, heavy drapes, quietness, air con. I would suggest a small kettle for tea and coffee would be welcome addition. The staff were attentive an helpful, especially Boris. Breakfast is included and a spectacular choice of foods is available. The city is impressive with plenty of good things to do and see,and everything is walkable.A local company nearby offers three trips every day in modern minibuses,so it is easy to arrange to go and see the nine or ten UNESCO world heritage sites in Armenia, all of whch are worthy recipients of the title.Europe Hotel certainly contributed to my very good holiday.I would recommend the hotel highly.

"Amazing service, clean facility, high hospitality."
It is a hidden diamond in hart of Erevan. First, is location location and location. Second, excellent service did surprised, it was over my expectations. Only in very few places I had same quality of service. Third, room floor plan and view of the city and mount Ararat.

Stayed for one night during our first time in Yerevan, location is very convenient and central, close to all attractions within walking distance. When we arrived at the hotel at 5 a.m. following our early morning landing from Vienna, the receptionist told us that we can check in at 10 a.m. instead of 1 p.m. When we came back from our morning walk around the central core, the room was ready for 8 a.m. This was really appreciated given our overnight flight and early arrival. The breakfast was buffet style and just awesome, from stewed chicken, to scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, variety of cheese and cold meets, pastries, etc. Best breakfast that we had going forward during our trip around Armenia. We would stay at this hotel again, highly recommended.

Theatre Hostel is located in the center of the city, within walking distance of St. Gregory's Church and the national history museum/art gallery. The metro and a taxi stand are on the same street and only a block away. It is an apartment turned hostel with 6 sets of bunkbeds in a large room, 2 in a separate room and one small single bedroom (where I stayed) with a shared shower and toilet. As an older woman attending a professional conference, I was a bit leary at first, but was quite taken with the staff ( members of this family-owned business) who were quick to help in every way. I was given access to a computer. They spoke English and provided me with verbal instructions and a map to various tourist sites in addition to calling a taxi when needed. Tea/coffee with a fresh sweet roll is breakfast. This is a clean facility to which I would return on my next trip to Yeravan. One last note: I visited in late October, so there was only one other guest each of the 4 nights I was there.

Not a newly built, but reasonably well kept hotel. Apparently they try to keep it clean so hard that the smell of chlorine in the lifts and comon areas in the morning is sometimes quite pronounced. A nice patio with a small pool, fountain and divans allows for cosy conversation. It's best to make sure your room windows overlook the patio, as otherwise the noise of the street will compromise your comfort.
Very friendly staff, though not without some glitches: I didn't get my wake-up call, while my friends got it twice, but much earlier than they wanted it.
Though not in the very heart of the city, it takes just 5-6 min walk to reach the central square.
3 of us lived in a spatious room with a bedroom and a living room, 2 TVs. Probably the worst thing about this hotel are very uncomfortable pillows. Other disappointment is the buffet breakfast - one would expect at least a freshly brewed coffee, not a cheap instant form a 4 stars hotel.
