We were there to attend my daughter's graduation. The location was great, only steps from my daughter's apartment. There was free coffee provided in the lobby every morning. That was a plus. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. There was a farmer's market on Saturday right in the parking lot that offered a good bakery and fruits. It cost much more for our 4 nights stay as it was a hot season. I did hope they provided free water bottles instead of charging $8 for two bottles of water.

The employees at the front desk went above and beyond for us. They scheduled a shuttle ride for us to Northwestern, gave us a late checkout and even found us plastic utensils. The most helpful thing they did was give me transportation options from O’Hare. I called the day before we arrived and asked about the bus service. Their advice was perfect. From Terminal 5 we went downstairs and took the airport tram to the rental car/ public transportation place. Once there we went downstairs and stood at bay #9. The Pulse Dempster bus took us to the Davis station in Evanston which dropped us off about 2 blocks from the hotel for $2.50 per person. Everything we needed restaurants and shopping were within walking distance to the hotel.

Used app to check in, select my own room, and obtain digital key. When I arrived the hotel clerk assigned me to a different room on a lower floor facing the opposite direction. I do not understand why my own selection was overridden. Hotel is dated. Carts supplied by the hotel do not fit in the doorways of the hotel with luggage. The hotel certain needs upgraded front doors from this century, elevators (which currently close on you and said carts) and service.
