It's a five mile drive to get to the shops so a car is a necessity, there is a little Portuguese cafe / bar just down the road that does nice coffee. "Thank you Helena, We stayed for just five nights, we needed a quiet break away and this Villa was perfect. It was very clean and tidy and the pool was wonderful. The Villa is old and rustic, authentically Portuguese with antique but adequate furniture. The kitchen is dated and unfortunately has no cupboards for food storage, just the fridge but it is clean and there is a dishwasher which is great after using the coal fired BBQ. "The nostalgic and tastefully furnished property is located in a park-like garden. The special feature is an aboretum with a jungle character that was created generations ago. The terrace of the house has an unobstructed sea view. The location is ideal for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our vacation here."
