"This place blows you away even just as you drive up to it. It's perfect for large families/groups with all the sleeping arrangements that are possible. Having three showers was amazing as well for all of us (6 adults and 4 kids). The porch on the outside was lovely at night. We planned on using the fire pit in the back as well but never had a chance to, it's adorable how they have it set up though. The place was very clean, much cleaner than places we've rented in the past. I will say to maybe bring your own pillow if it's hard for you to get comfortable. We all weren't crazy about them but we all have specific needs for that - we might just be being picky. Some things to consider - two of the twin beds are in the loft area, which is not ideal for children who wake easily from loud parents down below LOL. The lower level is perfect for 3 or 4 kids (as long as they are old enough for the top bunk). There are so many different amenities such as a pool table, games, books, etc. The two dining areas came in handy as well. The host was very nice and extremely helpful with the tons of questions we had. She let us stay for a late check out too which was very much appreciated. We can't say enough great things about this place and will definitely look into renting it again next time we travel as a group. *When we put the address in our maps it took us to the wrong place, it is very close though. There's an inn right next to the street is on, so we used that address instead. :)"

"We so enjoyed our time here. The owners were proactive with communication and responsive when we had questions. The property was spotless on checkin and well equipped with plenty of linens. The house is very comfortable. But the best part is the view - it’s not to be missed. We ate every meal, drank our coffee and evening cocktail on the expansive deck. We can’t wait to come back. "We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Alder Brook Lodge. The house was spotless, the bedrooms were good size and the home theater/bunk house was perfect for the four grandchildren. The yard offered endless fun, whether playing down by the brook, enjoying the fire pit or just playing yard games. We didn’t even have time to try the hot tub or go on any of the hiking trails. Maybe next time. Finally, the proximity to Santa’s Village , made a great opening day even better. Thank you for the memories!"
