“House was very nice, with excellent views. The lake was beautiful and teaming with fish and geese. Hardwood floors were a bit dirty on the main floor, but everything else was clean. Owner was very responsive when contacted, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. I think it was the best house on the lake! We are looking at our calendars right now wanting to go back!”

“The property was perfect for our short weekend stay. The view lived up to the previous reviews. It snowed during our stay which added to the beauty. The cabin and the process of confirming it was easy and convenient. The cabin had the basic kitchen needs and also some games to play with the kids. “This was a perfect property for our President's Day ski weekend at Timberline. Hosts were attentive and easy to communicate with. The property was clean and perfect for our two families with pre-teen boys who loved the ping-pong, foosball and NBA arcade in the basement. Very close to Timberline mountain. Plus we received 7 inches of fresh snow over the weekend. Thanks to the owners for a great space for our two families to enjoy a winter get-away.”

“The condo was lovely with amazing amenities. Very quiet but it was too far from trails, eateries, and other things to do. Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor.”

“The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!”

Deplorable
"Terrible es poco. No tengo fotos de la habitación porque preferí irme a otro hotel a pesar de haberlo pagado y tenerme que desplazar otra hora y media. Está en un estado lamentable, muy viejo, la moqueta raída, la habitación huele fatal y el plato de ducha estaba desconchado. Para colmo, la recepcionista era muy borde y desagradable, algo muy poco habitual en EEUU, que suelen ser muy amables, al menos en mi experiencia personal y ya es la tercera vez que visito el país. No entiendo las buenas valoraciones. Encima el precio es carísimo para lo que ofrecen."
