Palms Resort #1906 is a Junior 2BR/2BA, which is a 2 bedroom with a full-sized master plus a smaller bedroom and two full sized bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower. The master has a king-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom, which is a separate room with a door, has a trundle bed with 2 twins suitable for children or small adults and its own bathroom entry. There's a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. This unit also has a washer and dryer.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Our stay was decent. However the first night we arrived someone stole my bike off my truck. So we had to call the police. The Walmart next doors seems to attract some rowdy crowds. The restaurant is open to the public so alot of folks were around who were not staying there which put me on edge with my kids running around the pool. The restaurant is attached to the pool. There was blood on the kitchen chair from someone sitting down and there was blood on the seashell on the master bath. Other than that ever thing was decent. The outdoor restaurant was never put in order and the couch cushions were all missing or laid around. The food was ok nothing to call home about. The highlight had nothing to do with the condo. It was the gorgeous clean beautiful beach of Destin. It never disappoints! I will say, for the price it was a great deal. Just needs some TLC on the property. And restaurant.

Great birthday trip
My daughter and I decided to take a bday trip to celebrate our birthdays this year. The amenities and view were absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed our time. The bed was comfortable and for what we needed the room was perfect. The only suggestion I would give is for a deep clean on the blackout curtains and also maybe some better furniture on the patio for people to really enjoy the view that is provided. Otherwise I would highly suggest this place and this host.

Over as this place was great! I was there with a group of 5. We really appreciated the amenities (pool, sauna, coffee bar and restaurant/bar). The place was clean and beds pretty comfy for what they are (*trundle and sofa bed). Some minor things would have made this stay even better. We were aware there would be no condiments, coffee filters, cooking oil. However, those minor things would have been small details to create convenience. Nonetheless, I’d for sure stay again!

Overall nice stay with only minor incoveniences
The room was decent, very nice workout facility, and nice pools. We had some minor issues with handle breaking, dirty coffee pot, and dryer knob now working properly in the room; but quick response by management to resolve these issues. Wish there were some minor condiments like salt, pepper and cooking spray - just came with very bare basics in kitchen. But overall nice stay.

The Positives : Our condo was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The livingroom has comfortable leather furniture, a large kitchen table and chairs to seat 4 people and a comfortable king bed. The unit has a nice shower and also a tub. The Negatives : Sitting on the balcony you look out over a mall parking lot and you get the sun (when its out) until only around 11 AM after that its gone and its too cool in February to sit out on the balcony. The heated pool during winter months is quiet small and was very crowded most days with children, so we did not use it much. The large pool is not heated (understandable in winter) The second bedroom is only suitable for children or one adult at the most. Unfortunately for the last week in our condo there was some type of renovations / construction happening directly above us which was very annoying. You could hardly hear the TV during the day.

The building is nice and clean. The rooms are nice but the only thing that was disappointing was the beach access. This property is across the street from the beach which you have to pay to park at if you get parking. The condos across the street came with access to the beach included which was what i was looking for originally but was unable to get. Pictures to my room i had booked showed a beach access ramp that tricked me into thinking there was beach access but overall it was a nice stay.

Great place, great amenities, need better parking options.
We absolutely loved the Palms. It was a GREAT resort. Part of the reason we picked this listing was the amenities incl. They seemed to out-way the price for us. Check in was easy until we were told we only had one parking spot assigned and our trailer which was a 4x8 and a lot smaller than most cars couldn’t be parked on the property. The Palms actually worked with us and we figured out a solution, but there was no mention in listing about one parking spot. Had we brought two cars we’d have the same situation. The gym was great, the pool area is fabulous. Plenty of fun for our toddlers and preteen and we enjoyed it as well. Very clean and family friendly. The bar/grill and coffee house are also super great. You don’t have to leave the property to have a good time. The shuttle was something we were super excited about, but as we have a lot to carry to beach for two toddlers, they couldn’t carry those items, so we never used it. The area around the resort is awesome, dollar tree and Walmart are super close. Our room was very well kept and we had plenty of towels to accommodate our little family throughout daily showers and baths. The laundry machines were a great add in and of course a kitchen with everything we need. The security of the building and towers was really awesome too. You just need your codes to get into certain areas and nothing was ever very crowded.

Everyone was so nice and polite. The room was great and very clean. The water pressure kinda sucked but it was still worth it. The resort was gorgeous, clean, and had a great atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! I'd definitely choose this resort again!

Our biggest problem was getting into our room, key card never worked. Every time we wanted into our room we had to call security. The front desk blamed the owners, the owners blamed the property. The other big issue was the cleanliness, the kitchen was dirty and the bathrooms had hair from others all over the place. The carpets hadn't been cleaned in months To say the least, think twice!

I loved the location with many stores within walking distance, pools, park, tennis court, cafe and coffee shop downstairs, fitness centre, free parking and much more!!! We really enjoyed our time relaxing as a family. There is a shuttle to take you to a few beaches that we didn't get the opportunity to use because we were there in a colder season. I believe anyone would love the experience of staying at The Palms of Destin.

We had small children with us so the large pool, splash pad and overall setup was very nice for our family. We did feel that the unit's floor was dirty upon arrival, based on the appearance of the bottom of our feet (and our crawling baby's knees). Otherwise, enjoyable and easy to check in. The front desk staff was also very helpful in storing our luggage until check-in.

Outdated and cockroaches
The condo location is prime. The pool is amazing. We also were not notified the restaurant with pool table and common area was u see construction and not able to use. The condo itself has a hodgepodge of random furniture. The patio roof is falling off, we seen 2 cockroaches in the kitchen and the tub did not drain so had to use the smaller shower all week.
