"Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark."

"Very clean and beautiful structure. The pictures on the site make you think you will have a river view and maybe even be able to walk out to the river. That is not real. It’s a short hike or a drive to the river. Not a huge deal but we were a bit surprised. The fireplace smokes up the entire home. We turned off the the heat and it still did it. Fireplace is beautiful and heated the room but smoke was everywhere!!! Other than that, I would stay there again!"

"My grandmother & our three dogs had a great stay at this sweet little vintage home with a private fully fenced yard, and deck. The laundry room/back entry hall is huge & connected to the kitchen, which is larger than it appears in the photos. Plenty of room for our dogs to stretch out. Our dogs weigh 65lb, 55lb, and 8lb, respectively. The yard was fully secure and well kept, so it was easy to clean up after the dogs. "This little house was in a beautiful location, right in the forest. You can see the trees out of every window and skylight! We liked that this was private and a bit out of town. This was a good home base for seeing the redwoods and beaches both to the north and south. The beds were very cozy and we had everything we needed for our family of 6."

"This location is tucked in to McKinleyville, and is spacious, clean, and quiet. It is located on the same property as the owners but that was no problem for me and my family. Also the driveway gets muddy when it rains, but otherwise the pace was great. Well equipped, clean, and cozy. Would stay again."
