"My second stay at Holiday Inn Express at Arcata was much like my first. Exceptional! The only minor complaint was the cleaning of the sheet metal roof during the day. It’s a petty complaint as it’s routine maintenance that needs to be done. It does not detract from my stay and experience in Arcata!! "It was a nice and different experience staying in the woods. Definitely not for people with kids under 15 as the loft and bedroom are in different cabins away from each other. The online description didn’t mention the compost toilet, which makes the pricing unfair. The price we paid was way to much for going through the hassle of composite toilet and the make shift Kitchenette. "My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay in this cute place. It was very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed being able to hear the ocean at night with the window open. The beach is a longer walk from the property but the location is a great jump off point for many of the local beaches and forest access…. We did not get in until late and were very touched that the host had left lights on for us inside! We would definitely stay here on a return trip."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. I was amazed how close it was to town & how the cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed from bathroom supplies to kitchen supplies. Someone could literally live there. I am happy we got in before prices go up for the busy season but I will definitely want to stay there again!! The beds weee SO comfortable I want the mattress in my house!!! Thank you!!!!"
