The house was perfect for our family to get ready for the wedding and just to hang out and enjoy our time together. “From the time we saw this listing online, we knew it was the right spot for our anniversary get-away. The cabin is cozy and full of interesting artifacts, as well as very interesting books which we perused. The grounds were absolutely lovely, trees and flowers everywhere to enjoy. The pond and waterfall also added so much ambiance, it was just delightful relaxing on the patio, listening to the water. Tom and Cindy were the most helpful and friendly of hosts; how we enjoyed getting to know them....

“Beautiful big house, but it needs some TLC. Let me start with all the positives. It’s a great large cabin for big families. The game room is a nice addition, and there is plenty of space for sledding outside which we absolutely loved. Suggestions: It could be better organized and that’s really it. The kitchen is so spacious but we couldn’t find the utensils to cook and after 4 nights and 12 meals later that was frustrating. “We enjoyed our stay at the Capone Getaway. This 5 bedroom/3 bathroom house plus a loft provided plenty of space for our family gathering. The kitchen is filled with everything we needed plus some. The location was perfect for us in Soda Springs. A few drawbacks were: (1) The cabin entry was very icy so we had to remove and de-ice the iced over rubber mats before our family arrived so no one would slip getting into the cabin; (2) Some of the beds were too soft and pillows should be...

“What a wonderful retreat. We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. We had 5 adults with plenty of room to spare.”

“This cabin and host was remarkable. We originally had plans to site see in Lake Tahoe, and other places but found ourselves repeatedly going back to the cabin to just hang and play games. Had a campfire, played ball with the dog, and hung out with cat. Great time. Scott accommodated everything we requested lickety split. The cabin layout was awesome. Will stay again.”

“The location was beautiful, the house is nice. The house was clean and had the facilities. The hot tub was fun as well the swing. The house needs some improvement like the kitchen equipment are little old. There is only one AC in the main room, so for really hot day it's hard to sleep. Overall it was good, but if made some more improvements to the house, it will be a beautiful place to stay.”
