Located in a delightful part of Glendale with tons of great places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are small and dated, but cozy. Also, there is no elevator, but staff are happy to help you with carrying bags upstairs.

Hallways are run down. You really need and elevator and closer parking. The room was clean. The bathroom doesnt have any kind of room for your makeup, etc. Really hard to get ready in them.

The Brand Plaza is a classic "city" hotel like you might find in Paris or New York. There is no elevator, but if you don't mind that this is an absolutely perfect choice for someone who wants a clean, quiet, comfortable base-of-operations for anything you're doing in the Glendale/Burbank/Downtown L.A. Area. The Hotel has absolutely everything you need and nothing that you don't. It could not be more centrally located to the studios, downtown and Pasadena. We loved it and are going to make it our home-away-from home during monthly business trips to L.A. Yelena and the staff are thoughtful and attentive. Five stars all around.

Pros: there was a beautiful armoire in the room. Cons: Parking lot is a block away in a rough area. The room smelled like cigarettes so badly that I put vicks under my nose to sleep. The fridge was broken. The upholstery on the chair was covered in stains. Sheets were uncomfortable/very low quality. I would not recommend staying here. We left a day early.

I liked that it was close to the venue where our show was and plenty of dining options near them. The only thing I should mention is the stairs and no elevator which I knew in advance and was not an issue for us. However, it could be an issue for other travellers. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
