"Absolutely beautiful place! We stayed three nights. The location was close to a lot of great places on the island. It was fun driving through the banana farms each time we came/left. The beach was stunning and completely empty so we had the entire beach to ourselves. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and drinking wine. We loved that the room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and AC. We hope to come back."

We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. "Amazing place to stay! We were lucky choosing Sirena Surf Lodge, rooms were super clean, Goyo and his wife were THE BEST hosts, we even got an upgrade on our room with amazing views, it was great to hear the sound of the waves on the night and been able to surf right in front of the lodge. Goyo organized a boat surf trip to puerto Sandino that I recommend to do! Also the food at pacifico fish (recommended by Goyo, was soo good! ) Nothing to complain! "Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here."

"Nothing to do around one you do the zip line,the coffee tour and a trail on Mombacho. The place is isolated and hard to get to anywhere without a car. The guys cooked us meals every day which were not too bad concidering the circumstances and reasonably priced. We stayed 2 nights and that was enough for us.It was nice being so close to a volcano and being surrounded by nature.Lots of hawler monkeys around as well!!"
