"We truly enjoyed our time from the moment we drove up till we had to go home. The cabin is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. You can tell that the owners not only care for their property but they care about those renting from them. They thought of everything! We enjoyed being close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock while feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere when we were back at the cabin. Only a quick 10 minute drive away. The restaurants we tried in chimney rock were the Burntshirt Bistro and The Highlands, both were delicious and had amazing views from their patios. Scoops ice cream in lake lure was so rich and creamy we went there twice! We hiked at chimney rock and walked the lovely flowering bridge. My favorite part though was coming back to the cabin and listening to the creek. I even got in it a couple of times. Plenty of good sandy spots to sit in. The water was cold but felt good. My son and I made s’mores on the fire pit and played games that were in the cabin. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the screened porch every morning. It was total relaxation. We even saw a huge turkey walk around the property two different days. We walked to see the large waterfall down the street. We truly hope to be back again soon. Now I can see why so many other reviewers have been here multiple times."

"Cabin was beautiful loved the granite counter tops, spacious with nice porch with all the amenities. We hung out in the jacuzzi, played and fished in the creek, that is practically under the outside porch. Loved the easy in and out driveway. Close to everything in Chimney Rock. Checked all the boxes for me. Hope to be back."

"Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. The location was very nice. We were close to Asheville and Lake Lure, both of which were fun locations that had a lot of stuff to do. And the house was very high up in a mountain, which had great views. The hosts were also very responsive, and any time we had an issue they were able to respond quickly. I thought the dinner plates were very enjoyable. My favorites were the white square ones, that felt like they were always just the right size for the food I was eating, and they were easy to clean off. The fact that they were a square a not a circle was novel, and made them enjoyable to eat off of. Overall the house was a great time, at a good location, with good amenities."
