"A very nice historic building to stay in with nice amenities. We really enjoyed our weekend at Pine Cottage. The staff were polite, helpful and kind. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Just a short walk to bike rentals, shopping, park, trails, and water. They hosted a great breakfast as well along with tea time and books/games to enjoy.We would definitely stay again. "

"Staff was amazing, beds were super comfortable, great breakfast. Very much enjoyed the beautiful front porch. Ferry personnel did not come in time for our luggage to be brought to the boat, so staff at Metivier Inn brought it themselves. Very impressed with how they went out of their way so things went smoothly for us."

"This was such a beautiful property. The views of the woods and garden create the perfect backdrop for the cozy log home. Everything was neat and clean and Mary Lynn made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was the perfect place to come home to after exploring the U.P. each day."

"This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host."
